    My PlayHouse is a channel where i will show, what i am working on. I have this house, it is 168 Square Meters / 1808.3ft² and it is full, of half-finished projects.
    I love working with heating, insulation, Servers, computers, Datacenter, green power, alternative energy, solar, wind and more. It all costs, but I'm trying to get the most out of my money, and my time.

    4 hours to get that sort of thermal mass down by 15-17 degrees is actually pretty good for that sort of thing, if I throw a case of cans at room temperature into my normal fridge it will still take at least a couple of hours for them to get that cold, and I would expect less performance from something like this. But of course it's not a one to one comparison, as that would already be cold, and it didn't seem like you tested if the drinks were actually at that temperature, or just where ever the sensor was located - but still, not bad.

    • @MyPlayHouse
      @MyPlayHouse  Год назад

      I did also try setting the temperature to -10 with nothing in the refrigerator,, that took like 20-30 min. not that bad.

    I'd guess the majority of the price is in the compressor and electronics. Which is why the cost difference for the smaller ones is so tiny.

    • @MyPlayHouse
      @MyPlayHouse  Год назад +1

      I think so as well,, and the extra plastic and insulation,,, makes a smaller differences.

    Most people might dislike that you don't really prestudy/learn about the product ahead of time. I enjoy learning sbout the priduct at the same time as you. Always a comical time.

    • @MyPlayHouse
      @MyPlayHouse  Год назад +1

      I could memorize more of the spec. But very often that is not the interesting part.
      Some of these produckets does not have a lot of information available to pre-learn,, and first when you can press the bottoms, you get a feel for how it is and work. I could fake it and make it like I knew everything,, it might sometimes work better.

    the socket powered off so you dont flatten the battery when the engines off but if you leave the lid closed it should stay quite cold.

    bigly big - you should attach a kill-a-watt to determine efficiency and how much it draws (totals) to keep tuborg gold cold - very interesting and useful item for long roadtrips #engrish consider adding some foam insulation to fridge to increase efficiency and save electricity #r value

      @@MyPlayHouse withsolar panel on rop of vehicle you could keep it as a perm fixture in the car - you never know when you may find yourself in a crevasse or a fnord and 8 liters of ice cold coke could be a lifesaver - alternatively you could plug panel into a circuit connected to battery assuring you always have tip top battery power in the vehicle.
      "Fnord" is a word coined in 1965 by Kerry Thornley and Greg Hill in the Discordian religious text Principia Discordia. It entered into popular culture after appearing in The Illuminatus! Trilogy of novels written by Robert Shea and Robert Anton Wilson. Wikipedia

      I might actually have miscalculated ;-/ 24*0.33cl is only 7,92Liter times two is 15,84Liter.
      The 50L is for sure if you fill it with liquid.
