Wow, primitives everywhere you look. I can see alot of fun going out to collect all of it. Really like the table for a vanity with the cloth curtain. Would love to own thar old wash house sign. An old broken basket sitting on a small cupboard near the staircase is wonderful. Thanks for sharing this tour

What a way to start Sunday. The video was so calming, helped with my anxiety and yes I will watch again. Beautiful collections and displays. Loved everything but if I had to choice favorite it would be collection of Bibles and the many shelfs her husband made. Thank you for sharing your hone with us and preserving history.

Oh Mary, I think we are soul sisters! Our styles are so much alike, exactly what I love and I’m a maximalist too, love being surrounded with treasures of our past 🤎🤎🤎. I can’t begin to pick a favorite though I love that old wall cupboard at the beginning, the amazing shelves and my favorite is always old bibles too. Your home couldn’t be more cozy, warm, relaxing and welcoming, like stepping back in time to a time when yes the work was hard but a much simpler, less chaotic time, a time to make do with what they had and a deep appreciation for family, home and faith. I’ll be rewatching this a hundred times. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us, my absolute favorite!

It is clear how much work & love went into this primitive home. Loved hearing of the pieces that came from Kentucky because Kentucky is apart of my heart where many of my loved ones live.

So enjoyable - I always enjoy seeing an antique collector show off their maximalist style of displaying their collections. I enjoyed her use of color to accompany all the primitive displays which in my opinion just sets them off. You can see Mary has a collection of happy times as she has collected over the years. I had to smile when she said she was obsessed with old clocks that don't work....I thought well that fits because in her house, time has stood still....and she invited us in to experience a time gone by.

I agree it is so much better to mix periods and styles. You know back in the day they had a mix of there modern,a little of grandparents and some stuff from ancestors .It is what gives a home personality.you did well

Are the house ceilings really low or is it just the filming? The red ceiling and small windows made it seem very low!

So many collections and so artfully arranged to create such a warm and cozy home! I especially love all the old items repurposed into “new” antiques and new uses by her husband. Amazing.
