Yeah they already agreed to a season 3 so that should be out in less than a year supposedly. But season 2 just came out on May 10th 2024 so I wouldn’t expect it to be to soon.

I really enjoyed how Hades was characterised in this season. He very much comes across as the lawful neutral type. Not good or evil, but just and misunderstood. Gives his character a complexity and depth which is typically lacking in most depictions. The idea of Hades slowly being poisoned by the Underworld was a nice touch. Now tell the writers not to keep us waiting for another 3 years 🤣🤣
10/10 on this series - even if Netflix has its moments of disappointment, spoiler warning can’t wait for season 3. I believe another 4 years until release

Guys I have a theory I think Zeus in this story cut Herons string, but not for the reason you think. Maybe Heron wasn't meant to be achieve greatness and would in turn die badly. I think Zeus knew at some point there would be a war for the throne because all the Gods are greedy and power hungry as he has been with them for long, so he purposely died so that he could go to the underworld to get Heron out as he knew Heron would die as he cut his string. So he would then him to be the king of Olympus while at the same time exposing the other Gods. Maybe I'm reaching but its hard to think that the most powerful God of them all died and was just locked up so easily by Hades and there's not more to it.
also i think Zeus knew somehow that if he died the fate of the world would depend on Heron to activate his powers to defeat Serophim.
This is actually a great theory! I never thought of that bcz that part was lowkey was sweeped under the rug and ignored. Bcz the audience never had an opinion idea of who might have done it

Yes, now that you've mentioned it. I actually think it was Zeus who cut his string. everybody were surprised when Heron died. You're probably right about the traing too. For Heron to be king of Olympic, the world needs to be in such a chaotic state that terrified even the gods. Then they'll follow the one could save them.
Hades couldn’t forgive himself, for all his faults Zeus had 1 ability no god had, which was the ability to forgive himself. I’m guessing season 3 is gonna be split between Typhon destruction of the world and Zeus and Heron escaping hell. Seraphim will feel he failed his brother his worst fear so he will go and team up to help him break out of hell. That’ll end season 3 I think.
The best thing of this masterpiece is that every mythology reference are written good, and they not changed. Even characters perfectly represented and finally no political correct, like black gods like zeus and others

-Poseidon is portrayed as good and wise,while in mythology he's one of the worst gods

I pretty liked blood of zeus so far. There is just one little thing that triggers me. Hades is charismatic but too stupid. When i say stupid its not stupid like a truc but rather he cant see a theoretical solution. For me a solution could have been that hades renounces his name of god of death, give the role to seraphim because he says he would endure anything for her wife, pardon demeter and cure the mortals simple enough
I dont think to renounce his position as gardian of the underworld is a simple process since its also a big responsiblity..🤭...In my opinion Hades seems to be the only one who's cause is more just....Since he doesnt want power but want his family to be together...also he be the only powerful god who does not want to hurt other inocent god or human to accomplish his goal...So i would say his heart is more good than all the other gods.And certainly that doesnt make him stupid.......

Netflix has been filled with so much woke garbage. This was a breath of fresh air a truly amazing show. They better hope they come up with more seasons because there’s nothing else worthwhile on their platform.
It ends with Aries winning a family war look it up and Ragnarok is not Greek lol and has nothing to do with Greek mythology
