I know that I wanted her to face the consequences of her crimes and the trouble she caused for everyone but god her screams were harrowing and I actually felt a bit sorry for her and wish she stayed longer, she was the best character on the show and made everyone hooked on Emmerdale, and even though Paige Sandhau isn't Meryl Streep and was OTT and hammy most of the time but she was fantastic in her portrayal of Meena and she added some interesting layers to the character. Hate her or like her but there was never a dull moment with Meena Jutla, she entertained us with her manipulation, her endless schemes, her sickening heartlessness over her crimes, stealing objects from her victims after they die, her singing skills and her ability to do everything she can to get out of troubles. I'm going to miss Meena so so so so much, thanks a lot Paige for your brilliant work on the show.
My favourite scene of Meena was that she revealed all of her murder victims to Manpreet it really well written and they did amazing in it. My other favourite scene was when Meena was in the church the scene was amazing Paige must of been really scared of doing that scene all on her own. The scene was really good as well. I'm going to miss Meena she was amazing. Paige Sandhu was amazing and stunning actress.

Leanna, Andrea and Ben suffered the most frightening deaths at the hands of Meena And Poor Liam, David, Jacob, Victoria, Leyla, Charles, Manpreet, Vinny, Liv, Gabby, Kim, Billy and Dawn had to suffer and endure the pain Meena caused them In the end Meena got what she deserved
Best ending for her. She revealed herself to be exactly what she always was... an unexceptional, forgettable, average and lonely little girl still crying for attention. It's all she ever wanted. Someone to notice and recognise her and now she'll be ignored and insignificant forever 😄😁
Paige Sandhu was incredible and iconic as Meena in Emmerdale and she definitely deserved all the praise and awards she got, despite her storyline being dragged on for months and some of it’s non-sensical and unrealistic flaws. This was a good conclusion to Meena’s story where she got sent down for the rest of her life for all the heinous crimes she committed. It’s better than having to kill Meena off like they intend to do with other villains on the soaps. Hope Paige Sandhu gets to play other roles in film or television in the future, as her performance on Emmerdale proved she is really a talented actress.
Meena is now where she belongs. Out of sight and out of mind. She was a narcissist; addicted to feeling important and putting others down to make herself feel good. She knows best and in her world and way of thinking; can never be wrong. Meena was the type of person who would create an emergency and then show up at the right time to be the ' savior' , call 999, triage the injured in order of severity of injury and hand over to the emergency services as if nothing has happened. Then she would return to her nursing job as if nothing had happened.
She has no control. The narcissist loves control, without it she's a fragile woman. In prison, her world is controlled, exercise,meals, privileges, access to medical treatment; all at the guard's convenience. This is it for the rest of her life, she will be leaving in a box, unless by some miracle an appeal for clemency or against her conviction is successful.
I’m glad the Justice was finally served with meena but also kind of disappointed that her character has gone because I was kind of hoping there be a storyline when she escapes from prison. also what happened to the prison guard that she was flirting with before her trial

While the individual crimes would be unlikely to warrant a whole life order, there’d be grounds in this storyline to argue for it. Not exactly realistic, but soaps rarely are. Hyper reality for the sake of entertainment.
This is very true, but she was found guilty of three murders, at least four counts of attempted murder, multiple counts of abduction when she took the court hostage. The aggrovating factors like the use of firearms, the lack of remorse etc make a Whole Life Order the only outcome. In this case, there is little to no mitigating circumstances. She's a violent, unpredictable and remorseless serial killer. In the real world she would be a Category A (highest security) prisoner for the rest of her life. She'll be lucky if she's allowed a razor for her legs.

Everyone thinks Sheila died in the Forest attacked by a Bear but she disguised herself which she is the queen of. She would be perfect doing a Masterclass that they do on Oprah's OWN Network. If the Actress who played Ash hadn't left Eastenders, she would have been perfect as a New Girlfriend.
