I'm 17 right now............ but only for another twenty minutes. I'm so scared. I don't want to turn 18. I'm not ready to grow up. I don't think I ever will be.
dude I'm 20 but I feel like I'm still 17. The COVID did not help either. I will give you an advice. Start something new you did not do before or never really commited to. Try to practice it at least 3 times a week, be it sports, working out (I chose this), acting, singing, making music, drawing... making something out of school. I guerantee you you will feel happy and glad to have started now, good luck. Don't think about growing up, just do things and the process will come naturally.
Don't think too much about it. Just be you. Don't let others tell you your too old for stuff. Yes, responsibilities and finances will come, but that doesn't mean you can't sit on a swing or ride a skateboard whenever you like. You can still make funny faces and laugh till your stomach hurts with friends. You can still play computer games, etc. You'll just be you 🙂
@caratkate2860 Okay, but don't forget that Avril Lavigne is Canadian...Like Justin Bieber and even Raymond Burr (Perry Mason), Canadians have very sneaky ways of pretending that they are responsible Americans... So, thanks for your comment..
These words in the lyrics are incorrect in the order as they are listened in this song. The correct order is the following one at this point: "It was you and me we were living our dream And we were seventeen"
When I was 17 you were 4 years old. Do you mean we were already connected. The year 1984 was the year where appear in France the serial Cobra. Do you ses it through m'y êtes? I Wonder.
I’m 18 and in college. Listening to this song make me feel like I’m 17 again. Damn, I miss being a kid! Back when things were easy for me!
