My AMG with the full sports package still surprises me with what it's willing to do at traffic lights against faster cars, on motorways and on country roads. This car is a beast for what it is I kid you not.. Well worth the coin, that much I am not in a hurry to change it. And no I don't work for Mercedes sales team. Just an honest owner.

Gtting my cla 220 amg sport 4matic in July, but noticed on the dash the front fog light symbol but i cant remember seeing front fog lights?

from 0 to 100 kmh in 7.4 seconds, mercedes says that it can do just 8.2 sec. did you do this acceleration on a downhill ?

nope... vw is 10kph every 100kph. bmw is the least with 5kph. merc is between 8-10. read the merc instruction manual, it tells you the same.
MrBusunglueck i've seen a videos of testing the top speeds of mercedes A45 AMG, volkswagen Golf GTI, and bmw 320 xdrive. only the mercedes have 4kmh+. but if you test drive them all, then you are right because i've seen the videos only on youtube ^^

Took off like a bat out of hell, upto 60kph, then it slowed down, took quite a while to get upto 200kph from .0 I think it be good at picking up the pace once on the move., nice anchors too.
notice it goes from 50 to 55 to 60 to 70.... instead of 5km/h the needle indicates 10km/h starting of at 60...

Thats true. I just bought myself a a180 automatic gear and chiptuned it to 360 of torque and 172hp. Must say It's faster then this standard cla220

I put the C180 van (2015) at 225 in downhill. 200 in straight line. And she only have 120hp. Seems very disappointing for a cla with 177hp or almost 180hp and more light then the C

Had to race one of this the other day, 2015 C117 177HP with my 2009 W211 136HP, 7G vs 5G, 1st gear full throtle had 50km/h already saw it in my rear-view, 3rd gear got 127 km/h at 4500rpms while this new one had 84, that's u nbelieveble. I understand that it has 2 more gears and 5G's gears are a lot wider but in the end, W211 can go with 5th gear at 220 km/h while this one will be at 170 km/h, had my friend to put it on sale next day, LOL
7 sec , mercedes claimed it does it in 8.4 seconds, this is a suprise... I think this will be my next car :D

how u can have 2500 rpm with 0km/h in 1 gear? i have cla 220 cdi but i can not do this. my cla is 2015 , 130 kw.
+luci dipace pressing brake and throttle at the same time at the start. dont try this yourself though, cause it wont do your torque converter any good
How much to repair a torque coverter, and do you damage other parts by doing this, i really gonna try this , i know myself, more then 5-6 times a year for showing of to the girl that i dont have
it takes so long to pass 220 :( a little bit disappointing ,i tough with the 170HP it pass it without any struggle.
Too Fast for given car, bare in mind the Cla / A class has less torque than the C/E class’s’
C class has 170 bhp & 295lbs/ 1570KG
Cla has 170 bhp & 258lbs/ 1525KG
C class Power to Weight : 108bhp/Ton & 187lbs/ft per ton
Cla Power to Weight is: 111bhp/ Ton & 169lbs/ft per ton .
0-100kph is 8.2 for Cla
0-100kph is 7.4 for C class
If CLA wants to be 7.4 secs on a straight then it needs to match C lass
Power to weight otherwise by mathematics not possible .

***** Hello Einstein. Let me explain my opinion regarding the acceleration of this particular car.
It doesn't matter if the gap increases from 10 km/h to 20 km/h after 60 km/h. My opinion is that the car still has a slower acceleration compared to the very start. So therefore your statement about gap (which I am aware of) doesn't bother me at all.
And please don't call me stupid, it doesn't make me one if another person doesn't agree with me regarding an opinion.
***** Again, I would say its fast until it reaches 80 km/h. Then it becomes slow...but please keep in mind that even though it might be a fact that its still fast, i still think its slow compared to the start and that there is nothing you can do to change my opinion.
