Great question! Does it ALWAYS happen before the build? No. There are 3 different times to supplement. Before the build (if the scope is not even remotely reasonable or unbuildable). So after the first roof inspection they will just automatically sign the contingency for you to do the work? Or is this just hypothetical? Could they not once you tell them they have damage just say they will call there adjuster them self?
GREAT question. The answer is NO they will not "automatically" sign the Contingency Agreement. Had some out of state “roofing contractor “ call about doing an inspection. Told me he was local, he wasn’t, took a lot of perseverance to finally get the name of the company. Was a smooth talker. Told him to take a hike. More con man than salesman.
