Tips:
1) depth strider is useful even in creative because flying underwater is not the easiest thing to control and sometimes you need to move a bit slower
2) Sea lanterns and coral are a nice touch (inside)
3) Water fountains in an underwater house?
4) End rods can also be nice lights

Preston wins. I would rate your house a 5 for decoration. I watched Preston view and his house while small was pretty good it had three different rooms. Tip lanterns are placed on from the ceiling or on hanging from something like a fence piece

Tip: When your building a house, you need to build the walls, windows and stairs (if you have a second floor) first, then you can decorate the inside!
Heres some of my favorite blocks/things when i build a house!
-White stain glass
-White concrete
-Smooth quartz
-Lanterns
-Grey beds
-White wool
-Smooth quartz stairs
-Oak door
-Grey concrete
-Oak leaves :D

and another tip 1:you can place lanterns on the ceiling only (I don't know if you can put lanterns on slabs or not) tip 2: you can't place torches on glass tip 3:if you place a slab under a slab it will be a block I hope these tips help
