I’m just here to rewatch, but yup, I’m still saddened by what’s going on with CLC and how Cube isn’t even giving us any word of the situation. Then one of the staff selling cds made to the girls being sold without their knowing, it makes me me angry. Like I tried to give Cube a chance, but now I see how bad they manage them and how they keep our girls from shining. They put too much attention on other groups and personally, I strongly believe if managed a lot better CLC can achieve just as much. I’m worried about their future, but I know our girls are strong and together we can support them!

CLC isn’t actually dismissed (if you are referring to YuJin’s comment, many people have said that was a mistranslation). Cube said they would no longer support CLC group activities (back in Feb 2020) but they still had this comeback in September 2020. If the girls can prove to Cube that they can make money (because in all businesses, it’s about profit) then they will get group promotions.
*The biggest problem is the album sales. CLC just doesn’t sell enough albums (Helicopter sold 18,897 copies, which is their HIGHEST selling album) to justify the expense of creating said albums, especially when Cube’s NEWLY debuted girl group sold 41,000+ copies of their DEBUT “single” album. Unfortunately, no matter how much you like a group, if the profits do not exceed (generally by a significant margin) the expenses of creating albums, entertainment companies will stop supporting and promoting that group. It sucks and is highly unfair but that is the business world and it doesn’t matter what country you are in for that to be a fact.*
So ultimately it is not really Cube’s fault, it is the “fault” of not having enough fans and not gaining enough popularity with the general public to generate the album sales necessary for an acceptable “profit margin” to continue support for the group. If you take an economics class, it explains all about profit margins and other factors that businesses factor into policies and decisions.
