Thank you for this video BAB girls. I have hair loss secondary to PCOS. While I still have hair, I am also in menopause and the thinning is getting worse. I don't have the time, energy, or money to explore treatment that I already know are unlikely to be noticeably helpful so I am now envisioning a point where I simply shave it all off. I really appreciate seeing a group of confident women supporting each other openly with their choice to stop fighting their bodies and instead focus on living their lives. I wonder more and more what I am not doing with my life while I fret about my hair, and who I might become if I simply go ahead and shave my thin hair off.
I think bald women are really cool. Just wish that the last woman didn't feel like talking about bald men's privileges. Yes, bald men are accepted in society easier than woman, but men, especially boys and young men, can struggle just as much as women when losing their hair.
I volunteer with Children's Alopecia Project and know that boys and men can suffer deeply with hair loss. I would never minimize that experience and certainly did not imply that. What I did say -- and what I stand by -- is that being bald is socially acceptable for men. It is not for women.
I have to agree. I've know boys and men all my life who felt the social jab at losing their hair. I think there is greater social acceptance of baldness in men but that is really a recent thing. I'd like to see more women emulate that and hope I can work up the courage to do it myself. Perhaps the greatest concern I have is that of experiencing physical aggression by someone who thinks I'm am making a political statement rather than just a personal choice to hide.
What a load of rubbish men who lose hair as a 17 or 19 year old find it very difficult to find women In there age group..... I love bald women have no issue with it....

I shaved my head 3 weeks ago just b/c I did not want to be afraid to be without ever. I wanted to make sure that fear was not given a chance to be there. It has been freeing in so many ways. So glad to see women give other woman courage! You all ROCK!

@@vernondavis6095 Not every woman that shaves her head has a disease. I shave mine because I feel more normal than putting a lot of chemicals, colors, wigs and weaves on. It can be a choice. For me, and a lot of women, it is.

there's really not a problem with it. I would much rather see a woman completely bald than a Woman with Propecia and has thinning hair and blotches.
