Shame, I say shame on that counsel that refused to shake hands. I would even think he should be de-robed of his attire as a lawyer. Nnamdi Kanu remains innocent until otherwise proved and even found guilty he remains a honourable citizens, why then treat him with disdain? What is that lawyer afraid of.

It’s normal not shaking the defendant’s hand, because the counsel could become a judge or a court judge tomorrow and the picture where he’s shaking MNK hands will surface online and many people will be like he wount be fair as a judge ,,, so these lawyers are smart!! Long live ohamadike

I have never in my adult life seen a counsel refusing to shake hands or exchange pleasantries with an alleged criminal. Attorneys in the West, especially in the U.S. takes an oath, no matter what to serve, obey the law of the land and avoid any discrimination against someone facing criminal charges. Even a charge in the U.S. addresses a murderer with respect. It's just so sad to see a federal counsel refusing to acknowledge Kanu. No matter what, Kanu is still a Nigerian. And isn't what Kanu was talking/complaining about? Is it exactly what's now happening in Nigeria? Can anyone dispute it? I'm not Ibo or a fan of Ipob. Nigeria is in some serious trouble when you have attorneys with implicit biases.

How can a learned gentleman who called himself a lawyer representing Nigerians will refuse to shake hands with a man that is trying to divide nigeria. This was the period the lawyer was supposed to show him love, that we love you and we are one . We don’t want Nigeria to divide but with his actions he has shown that Nigeria is not one. Let them go. It is a pity that we don’t have competent people to do the job. They are not qualified, a round peg in a square hole.
