Honestly I used to be one of those judgmental natural girls. I have come to realise whatever works for you. As long as your hair makes you feel confident and comfortable and even if not it's your hair- you're business.
Jesus has a purpose and a calling over your life you have such great wisdom n if you want god to talk to you more and answer more questions all you have to do is spead more time with him and talk to him more n I’m not saying like every 5 mins I mean like talk to him like his your friend . I’ll recommend reading the Bible and read the New Testament to get to know Jesus more and if you really want to know who you are in Christ you have to seek Jesus and he’ll reveal everything to you ….

This is very inspirational Skai. I've been also straightening my hair as its just easy to wear it that way. I agree healthy natural is different from straight natural. As long as its growing, there's no breakage and we get our end trimed thats all that matters.
I used to feel bad and guilty because of comments about my hair being straight and not natural, the best thing I ever did was realize that this is how I love to see myself, that I feel more beautiful. At the end of the day, how you look is about what you think is best for you. Keep going Skai 🖤
I hope you feel better doll. Keep learning about your hair. The more you do it the better you'll get. You'll get there. I damaged my hair from chlorine from the pool and I just gradually cut off the ends. I also learned how to keep my hair dry while swimming. I have natural hair vids on my channel. My hair is natural too. Much love! And YES, I don't put any glue with lacefronts .I don't care what nobody says, atleast I still have my edges.
See there’s nothing wrong with your hair, but if you ever wanted to get your curls back without a massive chop I’d just get my ends cut regularly, hair mask, take vitamins , keep your hair braided up just like you have been. You’re beautiful regardless!
@@ebonypelumi what’s your goal you’re trying to obtain? I could possibly give you better tips by knowing your goal. Do you still get them? I get the designer central Straightening system (no chemicals but it helps me wear my hair straight when I want and when I’m ready for curls I’d wash my hair normal ) I still oil my hair 2-3 times a week and take vitamins. I would also recommend deep hair mask with a shower cap and use a blow dryer for better penetration. I also do twist outs on my hair as well

I do them in between styles and it’s not only super easy with nails on but they are cute I get compliments on them all the time 💗💗💗💗 but I have healthy curly hair and them twists/braid outs still don’t do it for me. No judgement at all only recommending 😘✨💝

@edu-tv8nc Hmm I do not believe that to be the case. 4c thick hair is known to be more tricky to manage; as a 4c girl I would know. As a celebrity with I imagine a busy schedule who sounds like doesn’t want to be bothered with doing her hair since she asks her mom to do it, straightening it is easier for her. Now an example of self-hate would be T.I’s daughter Deyjah Harris who literally said her 4c hair doesn’t “go” with her. She is light skinned and would much rather have a looser curl pattern. Skai never spoke badly of her hair. 😊

ur hair is so pretty i remember watching jessie and bunk’d when i was younger, you were definitely my favorite in both shows i wash my hair every 2-3 days and that’s what works for me, i only use shampoo conditioner and hair oil so yeah (but apparently according to everyone i know my hair is silky which i can’t argue about because it’s a compliment)

You're like my daughter she had curly natural hair alllll her life but when she turned 13 she was over it so now we just do sew ins with very loose curly weave or blow out kinky straight which blends flawlessly. I was over my naturally curly hair too, I'm locd now best decision ever.

I straighten my hair a lot and my curl pattern has also changed. My hair is very short and I still have a tight like curl texture, but not the same as it was. And I feel the same about wigs. I just bought one of those headband wigs so I can leave my hair alone.
When doing this instead of dipping your hair in the water get a spray bottle and add rosemary and thyme to it and let it sit for a day before doing this process to your hair. Make sure to spray your scalp because it will help with dandruff and thicken your hair
Skai you’re too funny! The way you are with your hair is the same way I am with mines lol. And I feel you on the 4c hair and heat damage comment. I hate when people always try to comment on certain peoples hair saying it’s damaged. I mean yes sometimes it can be obvious when someone hair is damaged BUT I hate when I see girls with pretty long hair and someone has to always point out it’s damaged. Like omg ok keep it in your head and a lot of times, I don’t even notice. Plus it’s so easy to have heat damage.
definitely love the hair videos. Have you ever considered doing like a bond treatment in your hair? Have you heard of Epres? It was started by one of the creators of olaplex who decided to start their own business. Apparently it’s supposed to be better than olaplex but I haven’t seen any black creators test the theory. Would love to hear your opinion
Honestly I get it lool, I texalaxed my hair last yr cuz i had enough and this yr i got sisterlocks i just do not have the time or energy. But its so cool to see how much new growth you get cuz if u wanna revert back its probably gnna be easier for you🤷♀️
My scalp is the same but trying a sugar scrub on your scalp before braids or a wig is amazing. I just use the grain brown sugar with a little honey, lime, and a little bit of apple cider vinegar and your scalp feels like it's breathing after. It can get messy but totally worth it.
I keep my hair straighten as well instead of wearing my curly hair because it’s just so much easier to deal with, my hair pattern has changed as well and my hair does break off more then it did before cause of damage but i realized that means i just have to wash it more then i used too along with oiling my scalp and wrapping my hair at night
I am honestly not sure what it is from. I had an X-ray and EKG done and they were both normal. I had Covid awhile ago and didn’t have any lingering symptoms but I’ve had bronchitis in the past. @shygirlny1 @shaylataylor9525
