The machine comes with a vent hose, I don't have the air filter I just vent it out a window. You should be fine. In xTool design space you can create a design that does just what you're talking about. The camera will help you place everything appropriately.
hello... I saw on the XTool page that it does not cut clear acrylic... I am looking for a laser cutter that engraves tumblers and cut clear acrylic.... what can you suggest? Please help me....
It does cut some acrylic, the material has to be thin (3mm or less) and opaque so nothing clear or glitter. It won't cut blue or white either. This all has to do with the type of laser it is. If you are looking at only doing acrylic then a CO2 laser is probably the way to go, that can cut any type of acrylic easily.
You can definitely use a different brand. Start looking on Amazon, Vevor (on Amazon) has one. Just make sure the hose of the M1 is the correct diameter to match the air filter.

You are correct. A diode laser of any kind cannot cut clear acrylic. Your best bet is a CO2 laser like the xtool P2.

I see the air purifier is very expensive. In Canada it' $969. Do you know of a less expensive air purifying system that will work with the MI?
