At the moment I have to set all the 6 programmes. Also I set 6am for one but can’t tell it when to turn it off again? What gives? Any help please.
Hello, I only have such a thermostat, for about two weeks now I have had an icon with a key and a screwdriver on the right side. And I'm told to call a phone number just because that number doesn't ring how can I get rid of that icon ??? Because I have problems using the thermostat, such as temperature control and other menu functions. Thanks.
Assuming you have programmed it correctly, if it is coming on earlier than programmed then this could be down to the optimum start function. Try going into the settings and turn this feature off. Manufacturers are having to provide these features to comply with government regulations (enviromental targets etc.), but the goverment never consult with the trade before proceeding. Optimum Start has caused me more grief over the years than anything " why is my boiler coming on in the middle of the night" etc. If they consulted the professionals then we would all tell them if they want to meet enviromental targets they should look at building insulation first. The UK has the worst building heat loss figures anywhere in Europe! Rant over!

Optimised is off. Comes on in the middle of the night, remote control does nothing, blows out heat full power 24/7. The only way to stop it is to go to the boiler and turn it all off!
Just a simple question? At the Wall box where you can switch Auto or Manual, if I switch it to Manual, does that mean I dont have to use this thermostat box at all and can just control everything from the dial on the front of the boiler itself?

I have an old thermostat what was only connected to the boiler through 2 wires, that's it. Now I got this shit Salus RT520RF that require those 2 wires plus another 2 and a 220 socket to plug it in. That should be on the package, on the site, on the product description, before people purchase this. I don't have an extra socket to plug this in, as my old wireless one worked wired to the boiler

Agreed with the comments here, out of the blue decides to do what it wants. Comes on in the middle of the night sometimes even when set not to.

Hello, if you set the receiver to manual you simply close the contact permantly, and yes this means you can use the dial on your boiler itself
