I remember watching this projected in a museum in Canada in 2007 and it had a deep impact on me! I've seen then listened to this song a countless number of times.

This song is amazing! I first heard it on Kyle XY...and today it made me cry after hearing it a few times later....I felt like the composer knew exactly how I felt and described it on the tune. I love it! and btw, this version is better than the 6 minutes one, in my opinion.

@twilight9966 Skins asked a lot of artists to make music exclusively for the show. The song played in Effy's episode in season one is in fact this song but redone by M. Craft. The melody is the same but the lyrics are changed exclusively for use in the episode. A lot of dubstep used later on in the series was also made just for the show by Skream. If I'm not mistaken, studio versions of these songs are not released. Hope that helps!
I think that the Skins version was altered somehow due to copyright issues(not sure), it is the same song only the lyrics in skins version are a bit different.
Does anyone have any idea where I can get a copy of the Skins version of this song. I would rip it myself from the DVD if I could, but i'm kind of hopeless. I know it's short and limited, but it's driving me crazy. I can't believe I can't find that clip anywhere. O_o
