hello, its not just tmobile, its calling using bluetooth to ANY carrier to someone on the same carrier. EX. Bluetooth call from VZW customer to VZW customer, end user cant hear you. VZW to TMo works fine. test it out for yourself, this is a huge bug and Honor needs to fix asap.

The best thing about the phone is the thinness. Sometimes when you hold it you forget that it is a foldable because it is so thin and light. I could never go back to a Galaxy Fold.

What speeds are you getting on your V2 just got mine today
Thanks for the update and the Bluetooth is very odd. It wouldn't be a big deal for me since I rarely use Bluetooth for making calls and I do use Mint Mobile.
There is a work around at 5:05 for now I'm good as well. I'll just wait for the update.

I've got the same Bluetooth issue. I started a thread on reddit and bunch of folks (myself included) have reached out to the developers. Many USB C headphones also don't work. I have tried EVERYTHING, but no luck fixing

Hi, I got my honor magic v2, my carrier is mobile, and I have the same issue with Android auto and Bluetooth headset, the weird thing is if I make a call thru WhatsApp, fb messenger, or my Google number, anyone can hear me, so I believe that is not a tmobile issue, is the phone app that has blocked permission on the microphone but that's my humble understanding. Anyways hopefully honor get this issue fixed for us, thanks for you post
It's not just tmobile so it's an issue on honors side. Someone has posted that they have Verizon and it happens when they call others on Verizon. (check the pinned comment) It's not an app permission issue I literally went through every mic permission on the phone. Thanks for watching. I hope we get a fix soon.
Just to state, I’ve had the phone for almost a week and have paired it with AirPod 3 and 1More mini buds (in addition to Android Auto) and haven’t had a single BT issue. So that’s weird.
PS. I’m from Saudi Arabia so obviously different networks lol
I too find the opening and closing a bit difficult and now trying out the Oneplus Open and find the Camera on it to be superior.

@@MajicSho Awesome be glad you don't have the issue we have here in the US with bluetooth. I see how you could struggle with the One and the Honor I carry both don't know if I could pick between the two. To me they are extremely close in the camera department
@@GadgetGoddess since my daughter is 17 months and son is 1 month, portrait photos are important and overall, it seems the Open takes better ones.
Having said that, the Magic V2 spoils you with how light and comfy it is to hold. The Open does remind me that I'm holding a fold while the Magic spoils you in gaining a Fold only when you need it.
Shame the Camera seems better on the Open.
@@MajicShoI have only had it about a week and a half and have not taken many portrait photos. I do plan to get some shots in soon I just have been trying to get my accessories done. I didn't plan to shoot this video until I found out about the issue and wanted to see if anyone else had the same problem. You are correct with the comfort with the phone. In hand and when I take selfies it is much easier with the Honor than the OnePlus.

Currently, I have an Oneplus Open. However, when I use their default case, it becomes too bulky for comfortable one-handed use due to the increased thickness. I'm considering switching to the Honor Magic V2, but I'm curious about how it will feel with a case that provides protection for both the front and back, unlike its default case, which only covers the back. Please let me know your experience once you receive your case. I'm particularly interested in knowing how the thickness compares to the Oneplus Open, especially when both have cases on (front/back protection). Many thanks!
I love carbon fiber cases on my OnePlus Open you should try that first if that the only complaint you have about the phone. My clear case arrived yesterday and I like it but don't like the fit of the front of the case. I will be happy when the carbon fiber cases arrives because I'm partial to those. They are thin light and protective and it feels like you don't have a case on at all.

Thanks for replying. Do let me know how the Honor feels when you have the new front / back carbon case. Currently the original case for Honor is only for the back, so it is a bit difficult to compare with the Oneplus Open that has 2 front / back cases.
I have already purchased 4 different cases for my Oneplus Open, but in terms of slimness, the original case is still thinner. Is your Oneplus Open carbon case slimmer or at least the same thickness as the original case?
@keithtan12 yes the carbon fiber is thinner than the original case with the OnePlus Open. I would say grab one and try it out although the Honor phone is thinner it's not as huge a difference as the Samsung or pixel fold. The weights are similar as well.
Can it take pictures of moving subjects(kids, pets etc), mostly blurry free?
It's suppose to have a feature to do so. I don't have kids or pets but I'll see what I can find for you.

Hello homegirl . I know you carry all kind of foldables. My question to you is do you carry any apple phones and why. Reason being is that I want to go back to my android. I have a pixel fold but I need that imessage cuz every freaking body in my circle carries that and I want it for imessage. I m trying to find a easy way around it. I know at one time you was carrying a ipad mini 6 and I always carry that with me most of the time but i'm trying to find a easy way to work it. I keep a a tablet in my bag but I carrying a pro max and Pixel fold in my pocket at the same time.
I still have my mini I have a mint sim that I pay for annually and when I want to have an iOS device I have one. I can't commit to an iphone until they drop a fold which is looking 2025ish. I used to carry one regularly but they can't keep my attention.

I have the pixel fold but what makes me mad is when I open it up all the alignment be looking goofy. Drives me nuts
@@shockdauniverse5830 I don't miss my pixel fold and I'm shocked I'm saying it. If they put it on a diet for the 2 they might have a shot. This honor and the open are much lighter and are just more efficient. But that was pixels first try so they get a pass. Samsung on the other hand should be ahead of everyone. Sadly they are the fold I least desire.
@@GadgetGoddess It's so crazy you said that because Pixel Fold is a real thickumms. I have big hands but when you have a case on its a real fatty and heavy like a break. I can't believe I wasnt the only one that thought that way. I had Samsung folds but that outer screen was just too damn slim so that is why I tried the pixel. Now I won't dare pick the the new ones because it's only going to make me 😭.

There is a carbon case you can order that has the front piece that's missing from the backplate that comes with the phone.
Well my carbon fiber should be here soon the clear is here now but I don't like the front. Hopefully I don't have to wait much longer.
@@GadgetGoddess There is no hinge protection from the carbon fiber one, so I would stick to the original one you have
@@adamt6186 I don't like hinge protectors on any foldable. Makes the phone thicker. It's a foldable with a titanium hinge why do I need a hinge protector?
@@GadgetGoddess There are only some tiny parts made of titanium, read it carefully. It's just a PR. I believe this part is very vulnerable, so some kind of protection is needed. I compared both cases and they are not much different in terms of the final thickness.
@@adamt6186 this isn't my first or last foldable. I've been carrying them since the samsung z fold 2. None have required me to have a hinge protector. I dropped the z fold 2 off a deck on to a set of bricks and there was no damage to the phone. The case didn't have a hinge.
Don't forget to use the IR blaster.
I never miss a moment with my blasters on the open so thanks for the reminder. I just been so busy with work and just trying to get things set up.
