I think for a lot of Westerners this song isn't as popular as some of their harder hitting songs, but it was their first song to get a win on S Korean music shows.
This was their third comeback after debuting 8 months earlier, which won their first award in Korean shows. This song is special to them because they and their company come from humble roots so when the Korean show announced them as winners, Yunho, the most positive member of the group, couldn't hold back his tears, so Jongho and Wooyoung did too. There is an MV for the Japanese version of Utopia & one for Aurora which Hongjoong wrote about looking out at the lights of crowd when performing in concert. Atiny is destiny + Ateez so it pronounced as you would the tiny part of destiny but with the a in front (if that makes sense 😆)
Korean fans and the general public who know this song in Korea LOVE IT. It's been featured in very popular broadcasting shows over there and is usually the song that most people in South Korea associate with Ateez so it has a significant meaning to it.
As an I-fan I absolutely love this song! It was my very first comeback with Ateez and the one that hooked me into the fandom and solidified my love for them as a group. I played it on loop all day every day for months when I first heard it because I just absolutely love the vocal harmonies in the background, especially towards the end. I still get all teary eyed and emotional when I hear it because it always reminds me of the beginning of my journey with these 8 lovely young men.

Wave! My baby! Like I said in the Illusion reaction, I love this song so much! I'm generally a fan of summery/happy sounding songs, so this one came for me. Plus Mingi's 'GEONBAE GENOBAE' + 'HAKUNA MATA YA' kill me everytime - his voiceeeee (plus that shirt...). 🥰
Like some people have already mentioned, this song got them their first win as well, so it's extra special. (Though, it's still a sin they didn't win anything for the Say My Name/Hala Hala era imo🥲).

- Ahhh, I really love the choreo for this one a lot. Even more so than some of their more hard-hitting songs as well, I'm not sure why. Super bouncy and fun. It's also a deceptively hard dance, as they themselves have mentioned on occasion, with all the hopping around and everything.
I was looking forward to this one, and was definitely not disappointed. I'm happy you enjoyed! Aurora (a song written for Atiny by Hongjoong) and Utopia should be next on the playlist I gave you (both b-sides on this album as I mentioned already I believe). Not sure if you've already recorded those reactions or not. The Utopia MV is part of a Japanese release they did, but when you react to the album on Patreon, they do have a Korean version on the Treasure EP.3 album as well! That and Utopia are both phenomenal b-sides.

This is definitely up there on my list of personal faves. There's so much to enjoy about it. Beautiful vocals, upbeat, tropical feel, the boys having fun, happy and inspirational.
But there was a moment where the message really hit me that just solidified my love for this song. After listening to it and watching the mv numerous times, one random day I was really focused on the lyrics, and by the time it got to the last line "go over the wave" I guess the impact of it, taken in its entirety (music, vocals, lyrics, overall mv atmosphere, message) really hit me and I literally burst into tears (I say "literally burst..." because I didn't realize I was going to cry--it really did hit me suddenly, all at once). How they really just said LIVE your life. Don't be afraid, but even if you are, keep going. Go over the wave. Go through that tough part. Don't let it stop you.
I suffer from severe social anxiety (and general), and I have lived most of my life in fear, in some form or other. I have missed out on so much and admit that I haven't been living my life. Their songs give me strength and inspiration that is much needed, and that I'm grateful for.
I think when I reacted to this song I was so thrown off by the happy upbeat sound of it because I had only ever heard their hard hitting stuff up until this point so I didn’t take in the full message of the song. Now that I’ve been a fan for a bit and have listened to this song a bunch in my free time it really grew on me and you explaining it this way makes it so much better so thank you for this!! I also struggle with severe general anxiety so even making this channel has been a big hurdle for me but atinys have all been so lovely to me❤
