Love tetras. I'll take one of each! :)
Good idea
Can tetras ( neon tetra, black neon tetra, tail light tetra, cherry barbs and golden zebrafish) be together in one tank with betta fish? Cuhs im about to put my betta fish in their tank .
Not sure if they ok with a betta fish. Normally they are not aggressive. But some tetras and barbs not ok to put with long tail/fin fish types.
I never tried that. So cant exactly say. Maybe you can add watch carefully few hours or a day so you can get an idea if they live friendly or not.
Barbs are known to be fin nippers, not advisable with Bettas gown like tails and fin.
Can i keep neon tetras with betta
Yes
Neon Tetra tend to stay around the mid-tank area, keeping their distance from any bettas so they will often get along. A large / long tank is recommended as tetras are schooling fish. You will need to have a minimum of six tetras in your tank - however, it is a good idea to have more (approximately 10 to 12 is sufficient). Once your tank features a colorful school you will see that keeping betta fish with other fish is not such a problem at all.

@@TechNovaAquariums thanks for replying. Love from Bangladesh ❤
One more question, can i keep neon with betta in a 1.5 feet tank
@@touhidhasan2282 The minimum tank size for neon tetras is 10 gallons ( i think it will be closer to 1.4 feet) But the recommended size is 20 gallon for 15 fish
this is our article about Neon Tetras. This is our official freshwater blog. All the basics included in here

Jeez I’m looking for peaceful fishes to put in my aquarium but I don’t find tetras, guppies, Mollies, barbs, danios, or platies.
So... mine are silvertip tetra...i though it was buenos tetra😂
No x-ray tetras on this list
Do they need air pump! Or are they just like bettas? Emergency! My tetras are in danger!
Most of them are Ok without an air pump. But if you have a tank with a roof (close tank) Its better to use an air pump. But Tetras can live without an airpump if the water condition good and tank is in a open environment.
Tech Nova how do i make the water condition okay? Do i change them every week ? I saw all of them went on top of the water and gasping for air. I have 50 tetras with different types. I had to run and get the air pump asap . One just died 😭
Tech Nova i also have an open tank 10 gallons
@@fasya6910 Seems the water condition is not ok. Its nice if you can use air pump for now. And you can keep a better water condition by using a filter. maintaining foods. add little sand rock mix bottom layer it will also help to keep garbage out from mixing to the water. But at the moment if they coming to top of the tank. Change the water and clean water without any chemicals. and add air pump if you can. Maybe the air level in water is not enough for all the fish
Tech Nova okay thank you!
