JANDA,BORN AND BROUGHT UP IN 30 CHAKK ,JARANWALA,LYALPUR,PAKISTAN(NOW FAISLABAD) AND AFTER THE PARTITION,HE AND HIS FAMILY MIGRATED TO CHAKK GUJJRAN ,A VILLAGE SITUATED ON HOSHIARPUR-JALANDHAR ROAD(SONA-LIKA TRACTOR FACTERY IS FAMOUS PALACE THERE).HIS GRANDFATHER WAS THE MAN WHO DECIDED TO SETTLE IN BAR, HIS ANCESTRAL VILLAGE WAS KURANGNA(PANDORI) ,NEAR HOSHIARPUR.

people of India and Pakistan view partition so differently. whereas in India specifically in Punjab, Sikhs/Hindus see it as unparalleled tragedy, are generally nostalgic of their time. Punjabi poets and writers in their works have created a romantic mysticism about the partition. The story is Pakistan is totally different, they feel proud of partition, see it as winning freedom and project themselves are sufferers. they don't have romanticism or pain in their heart about the whole thing. Moreover, there is no fraternity emotion in their view or talks.
+Ron Sandhu because they fled murdering hindu/ sikhs jathas.. train after train arrived in Lahore full of all cut up people.. so what fraternity was left? several hundred thousand migrating innocent Muslims were massacred, even little children were not spared... so yes Pakistan was their emancipation and coveted destination..

I think u must have studied it in Pak text books but now every thing is available on the net and read it from other soures too. Now you will say Sikhs faught for Britishers in world war I and II therefore they were in favour of Sikhs and also tell me what u mean by Muslims refuse to be slaves. You know how many Muslims fought for Britishers in world war 1 and 2 and were decorated with victoria cross and other awards and there graves are still there in Belgium, France and other countries and perhaps you do not wangt to know that Punab which was ruled by Sikhs was the last to be the part of British rule if u want toknow every thing is available in Lahore archives and u can read of Anglo/Sikh wars on net and tell me the war Muslims faught against Britishers. Perhaps you do not know any thing about Azad Hind Fauj read it. The gaddar of 1857 was started by a Hindu Mangal Pandey when he refused to use the cartridge which has to be opened by mouth before loading in the gun and it was said the material containes the essence of pig and cow meat.. Laxmi Bhai the Rani of Jhansi was not a Muslim go and read.

Nope. I have studied what is on the net and it is largely Indian propaganda. Indian sources are notorious for promoting propaganda. It is fact that Muslims primarily rebelled in 1857 and that the Hindus and Sikhs were favoured by their British masters. Muslims ruled the the Sub-Continent for 1000+ years and Pakistan represents the Muslim civilization of the region. Muslims have acted nobly and just under their rule, compared to Hindus and Sikhs who plundered, killed, and did such horrible things. Muslims freed and the main aggressors in 1947 were the Hindus and Sikhs. Muslims were defending.
Muslims ruled 1000 years do you know when your ancestors adopted Islam and first Masjid in India was build in Kerala Malabar and the land was provided by a Hindu king. Before that 1000 years who was ruling those were invaders who invaded and looted Muslims and Hindus alike, and you did not answer my question about Muslim soldiers whose graves are still there in the western countries were they not fighting for Britishers and bring forth some proof that the Hindus and Sikhs started killings, and you always say that the Hindus are cowards and one Muslim is equal to ten then how the coward Hindus killed the brave Muslims. It was all started by Muslims every body knows and it started from Pakistan. harman gill i agreed. khalistan is the only way to overcome the dominance of Hindu. being a Pakistani side punjabi, I thing that Muslim and Sikh can draft an agreement in which sikh should agree to provide the permanent way to Kashmir, and paksiatn should give NANNKANA to sikh as Capital of Khalistan.

But still. they dont care about 1984 riots. Should they have, then at least once, they could have raised the issue in Parliament. But they didnt. Even if Khalistan comes to existence, politicians will rule (whether they are religious entities) who hardly care about common people. How can you guarantee that in Khalistan, all the ruling people will be pure. You have seen the condition of Pakistan today. it came in to existence on the basis of religion. Nothing better happened. I am a Punjabi myself, born Hindu. I love all my sikh brothers and sisters. I cant think of my life without them. My neighours were Sikh. I used to sit with them, play with them and learnt how to do 'Paath". My marriage was performed in front of "Shri Guru Granth Saheb". My parents never stopped me from doing so. We love you and you love us.

I don't think so. I am from Punjab myself. I am Hindu, but I love my Sikh sisters, brothers, friends. I go to Gurudwara. My wedding was done according to Sikh rituals. I have many Sikh friends who are proud Indian. Well I should say,I and many more like me, don't think about religion when making friends. A person should be nice human being whether he/she is Hindu Sikh Muslim Christian. You can keep your thoughts to yourself.

After Landing in Nabha state in the month of April,1947,I was admitted to 4th class of State high School,Nabhas' Pry.Branch,chowk devidwala.Master Sham lal Kaushal,teacing 3rd class was interested in politics and used to ask me number of questions on my province,NWFP .which was famous for red shirter movement,and Khad Abdul Gafar Khan,the sarhadi Gandhi.He was rather a happy man to know that I had seen Mahatama Gandhi n one room with Bacha Khan ,the sarhadi Gandhi.Since I had studied in geography ,Dara Khyber,Dara tochi,Dara gomal and dara Bolan ,the 4 passes,he was very happy to tell whole of the school that I(this boy)knows all that.Other teachers were also good to me.After the reopening of schools after summer break in August ,our Muslim class mates and Muslim teachers were not there.During the period Muslim children were seen/heard selling small domestic items in the streets for negligible ammounts of few annas.

It was not partition it was conspiracy which is working well in accondance with intended design.Both the parties are busy in anti poor people activities.Buying arms maintaining full tension so that developement pace can be slowed down to the maximum possible extent to the benefit to the vested interests.
