I would love to have a SLRE 2 to be made. If you want to play at high fps you need a PC with a decent GPU and a GSync or Freesync compatible monitor. In my clips I'm playing at 250-300 fps. Because of Freesync I can turn off V-Sync in the game. There is also framegen on PC which can further increase the frame rate. But overall this game is a hidden gem and highly underappreciated.
How do you feel about this game? I’ve been playing it a lot recently and it’s definitely underrated imo but can be pretty frustrating lol some of the Rwd cars are brutal. The career is awesome
It is brutal but in an accessible way. The car damage model is excellent and the driving physics are great. If only Milestone had put in some effort to fix the minor issues that people complained about then it would've been a huge success. To me it's great even in it's current state. This game has the best tarmac physics. Even the graphics are as good as EA Sports WRC and I feel they're better in certain aspects. Even on a keyboard it handles really well.
I have handbreak from aliexpress . Is it possible to make it work in this game or not ? I have thrustmaster t300 rs and tlcm pedals they worked good. But this handbreak its no thrustmaster so what can i do ? thanks for info .
This game is a very underrated gem. People bashed it when it came out because on consoles it was locked to 30/60hz and it was laggy. Now everyone has high refresh rate monitors and GSync/FreeSync so no screen tearing and high fps. On the physics side, I would say it is very similar to DR 2.0 and some similarities with RBR. It is also very much like WRC Rally Evolved. Tarmac physics is better than RBR and DR 2.0. Damage model is amazing. Graphics are actually on par with WRC Generations and DR 2.0 and exceed them in certain stages like this Monte Carlo stage for example. It definitely has a very unique feel. Oh people also hated it for bad sound but it sounds way better than DR 2.0 or WRC Generations, just need to crank up the volume. Just give it a shot and you won't be disappointed. Game was built with Sebastian Loeb fully involved so you can imagine how good it is.
@@iktheoneI can agree at least in part with most of what you've said but it's outrageous to suggest that the graphics are anywhere near the other modern rally titles. The game essentially has graphics from the PS2-3 transition period with slightly upscaled textures.
I have to disagree to that. If you compare the graphics to EA Sports WRC and WRC Generations, it is on par with them. Just play it at 4K with a high end card and it will look really good. But graphically I think Dirt Rally 2.0 is the best.
@@diesel_doggyou're wrong, this game has the most realistic scenery i have ever seen on any other rally game. Also, is not about the graphics, is about resolution and fps, something that this game doesn't have on consoles. I just hope Milestone make another rally game just like this one.
Imagine this game with 60fps on console, or even better a new Milestone Sébastien Loeb Rally Evo 2 game.

I,ve never played this game. I'm a Colin McRae Generation player (nowadays Dirt Rally 2.0). How is the physis in this one?
