今年7月，国家正式出台了《进一步减轻义务教育阶段学生作业负担和校外培训负担的意见》这一文件，简称“双减政策”。
这一政策导致的一系列事件在传递一种信号，就是政府不仅要实现教育资源的公平化，更要降低大家学习英语的热度，但是在国际化的大趋势下，英语依然是世界上来自不同地区的人交流的第一大语言。这种弱化英语学习的做法真的合理吗，孩子应该在什么年纪开始学习外语呢？
本期视频我想介绍下欧美国家外语学习的发展情况以及政策，听完之后也许你对上面我提到的两个问题拥有自己独到看法啦。
In July this year, the state officially issued a document on Further Reducing the Homework Burden and Off-campus training burden of Students during the Compulsory Education period. This policy is referred to as the "double reduction policy".
A series of events caused by this policy send a signal that the government not only wants to achieve the fairness of educational resources, but also wants to reduce people's interest in learning English. However, under the general trend of internationalization, English is still the first language for people from different regions in the world to communicate. Is this weakening of English really reasonable, and at what age should children start learning a foreign language?
In this video, I would like to introduce the development and policies of foreign language learning in European and American countries. After listening to this video, you may have your own views on the two issues I mentioned above.
