So Greg.. I'm cooking dinner, and watching this, again... as you are showing records that I want bad.. you casually say.. " What Is This.. Is It Any Good" ? " I Dont Know What It Is" I'm dying here Greg !! LOL ! Watched your newest one. too !
Holy wow!!! Amazing find you ran across there! Right place right time there.
talk about the right place at the right time!!!!!!
Feel your addiction, mate! But jealousy prevents me from watching ur great video all the way, haha.
Wow you really scored congratulations, that Humble Pie album Eat it, has the hit song called Black Coffee, wow and that rare earth has the long version ( I know) I'm losing you , and " born to wonder" ... thanks for sharing your vinyl finds, Aloha
I love that Tom Petty album. It was in really good shape. I love Listen To Her Heart. I can't believe you got Bob Dylan for a buck. I love the cover of Cheap Thrills too. The condition of theses albums is unbelievable. Lucky Ducky! 😀
this video it's awesome, keep it up and i'll be tuned for new videos
Nice finds.
Wow great finds!!!!
Back to back Grateful Dead and Cheap Thrills for a buck a pop. Dylan, The Who, Humble Pie, Neil Young, Velvet Underground...
Good googily moogily I'm only half way through. Nice stack!
Right place at the right time - got lucky.... thanks for watching. Love your chill out vids.
The hits just kept coming on that haul. Amazing stuff. Bummer on the Floyd, but like you said, nothing to get bummed about. Amazing additions there for sure. The Jimi soundtrack has some great versions of Machine Gun, one of my all time favs. Congrats on the killer stuff!
Instablaster.
Rare Earth had a couple of hits in the early 70's. The drummer sang and had a deep voice. Get Ready was one of the hits. Got to number 4 on the charts and sold a million copies. Don't know if it's on Ecology, though.
Another great haul. Some of those finds have some pretty good value. Cheers E
All of this for a buck each!?,? Killer haul. That’s a real bummer on the Pink Floyd but I mean you got the Lou Reed live for a buck!?? I’ve been looking for that one forever and you got it for a dollar! Love the channel. Keep it up
holy fricking moly. Great haul
great score. i hit multiple goodwill's here in so-cal all the time. you were lucky to be there while someone dropped them off AND the store let you go thru them first. they usually don't do that.
Slow Train Coming another great one
I'll take that cure album if you're giving it away! 😃
You´re so lucky Sr. congrats !
Super entertaining video #crackedfloyd
Greetings Greg. Congrats on the 500+ subs. You're no secret anymore. Right place at the right time - good finds for sure. I have several of them. Humble Pie is the first group I saw live. Rare Earth is a good jam band. Happy cleaning - change the bath often - moldy eewww! Cheers.
I had a cracked Eagles Long Run
Greg, I was just thinking yesterday how I have not seen a video from you for awhile, obviously I have been missing them. Congrats on over 500 subs by the way. I need to take you to the goodwills in my town so you can have a feeling of utter disappointment and despair. What a great group of records for a buck. Super amazing. I have not seen that Allman Brothers before. WowVU for a buck. I bought that for substantially more. It is a great album. Enjoy. Steve
Rare Earth. The only hit making white band on Motown Records.
Nice haul...they are far and few between!
Wow, another great haul for you, I wish I could stumble on to one of these like you keep doing :) Yeah, for a buck a piece, I would have grabbed most all of those too - probably more depending on what you left behind.
MegaJeff McRocmack's Music World Tons left behind. Telling some locals to get over there today before its all gone.
Hi Greg! The Goodwill luck has traveled your way ... I lost mine this week, haven't found anything! Another absolutely incredible haul! I'm still so behind on posting mine ... I gotta get those up ASAP. Ha, I also picked up that "Eat It" record at GW a couple weeks ago. Not too familiar with Humble Pie stuff as well, but excited to give them a go. Jeff Beck's Truth!!!! One of my favorite albums of all time. Another great haul here. You mind sending the GW luck back my way? Lol. Have a good one. Peace. -Emma
Eight Vinyl Low Found Jeff Beck on his birthday / forgot to mention. Running outta room here. Looking fwd to seeing what u got. Thx.
Humble Pie is an English rock band formed by Steve Marriott in Essex during 1969. They are known as one of the late 1960s' first supergroups and found success on both sides of the Atlantic with such songs as "Black Coffee", "30 Days in the Hole", "I Don't Need No Doctor" and "Natural Born Bugie". The original band line-up featured lead vocalist and guitarist Steve Marriott from Small Faces, vocalist and guitarist Peter Frampton from The Herd, former Spooky Tooth bassist Greg Ridley and a 17-year-old drummer, Jerry Shirley, from The Apostolic Intervention.
The live at leads looks beat up because it was meant to look like a bootleg. It came will some photostat letters, pictures of the band and a photostat of their Woodstock contract.
That "Platinum Plus" stamp was done when catalog albums on MCA and their associated labels were reissued under their midline label in the late '70s and early '80s, which was about 50 to 60% cheaper than the original album. Peter Frampton was in Humble Pie up until their Live at the Fillmore album. The leader of the band was Steve Marriot of The Small Faces. Eat It was made after Frampton left the band.
dannyeliot good info, thanks!
@@VinylRundown I worked in a very large record and book department in a department store at the time.
Who does not have the inserts.
We're gonna have to get together soon and hit up some shops. - TONE
P.S. that little bit of disintegration on the top seem is usually from some sort of insect.
TONE Scott Just this comment - for sure! When is the SJC thing?
I have the double album, Twin Peaks by Mountain
Record one is damaged.
Record two is not.
I own a record by Wishbone Ash that's
warped.But I managed to
play a few songs.
The album is called Argus.
Dylan Changing of the Guard great Song on that first album. New Morning is fantastic. A fave of mine. If Not For You which George Harrison covered is great and listen to If Dogs Run Free. A sort of beat poet thing. Really Great haul.
The Byrds 5D along with Younger than Yesterday are my fave Byrds albums. On the Stones album play Melody w great Billy Preston piano.
Uh oh. Dark Shit on the Moon 🥺
Norman Maslov Have the Stones album already - couldn’t pass it up for a buck. Who’s gonna clean and catalog all this stuff...?
✊👀
Thats why I love America, we don’t have stores like GoodWill in Germany.
KaposLocos You don’t give old stuff away to charity? Maybe you don’t buy too much useless junk like Americans do!
Vinyl Rundown of course we do, but we don’t have a „ThriftCulture“ here in Germany. Haha trust me we do. Would love to go thrifting for old Vinyls and Bandshirts one day ! Cheers
U lucky f$&k😂 for real though great finds great video!!!
Lots of good stuff there. To bad about the Pink Floyd. You're only out a buck though, well two if you count that double lp missing a record. True about not going to thrift stores everyday. I don't have Goodwill's in my area, but we have something similar called Listen. I stop everyday on the way home from work. Good video. Subbed.
The Thrashing Zombie thanks. 30 LPs that run. 20 from a week earlier- gotta show down! Subbed back.
I believe it all evens out. Next week you will go to Goodwill, find a stack of Jim Nabors, Ray Coniff and Al Hirt.....feel like you can assuage your guilt by purchasing them all.
I went back today - another store. A dude in front of me had 45 LPs! Nothing left for me. If only I had gotten there 15 minutes earlier... But 95% of the time - Ray Coniff etc. Thanks...
My local thrift is 25 cents per record. I can’t buy them all....but I can afford to try!
@@Dinoson1 my nearest stores are .99, 1.99 and even $3 an LP - ouch! (98% of the stuff is nearly worthless...)
The Good will doesn't
carry albums like that
sometimes.
god is not punishing you, he loves you:-)
My god. Absolutely ripping albums for a buck!?? Crazy scores
Are those days over? Now it’s mostly CDs. Thanks!
Check the oil, yadi yada - is this live ? yes, good on ya
Are You in love with Your self . And Gloating. Humility is free
But you passed on a Gibson
If you are interested, I would STILL like to have that Pink Floyd you just picked up. I have a good record
but a messed-up album cover and inner sleeve! If your, Please leave in a reply, your contact info and we can discuss.. Thank you, Charles.
Your sons little friends. The team “little friends” sound patronizing to me!
Scott Wallace You are correct!
@@VinylRundown I hope I dod not offend you. Love watching your channel.
oops! ..you are Please....
Street Legal is fantastic but sound is crappy
Sir, I know what you are going through.
