Starship 4000 at the CNE 2014

This ride has been at the CNE for many years. It used to be called Starship 2000 (probably around the year 2000), then it was Starship 3000, then 4000. Have they been replacing this ride with newer models? Or is it the same ride, and they just update the sign whenever they give it a new coat of paint?
