16:15 For anyone a bit confused, this is called a Phantom Grab. When an item is collected by X via boomerang at the same time as the game spawns another item into the screen, the game gets confused and accidentally spawns the item into X's boomerang, instead of its regular spawn spot. Also at 16:45, you do not need to take damage in order to perform this glitch. As he mentioned, collecting health and weapon ammo pauses the game. When you use the boomerang, the weapon energy goes down, and if you’re lucky, you’ll get weapon ammo before hand.
He also has one that speedruns SMRPG, one that streams FF7 and the weirdo that does the harry potter game for the PS1 but I think he died sniffing industrial glue behind a wendys
While I could have used the C3 grab information a lot sooner at 14:08, it’s good to see you posting information about the entire run and all the “tech” that’s involved with it. Good stuff Caleb! Edit: I’ve practiced it a bit, and I was able to actually get it when doing a run! The run sucked tho since I messed up on armadillo skip.

19:50 I noticed when you ran out of boomerangs, you had to hit Chameleon with a dash shot. I believe you could have saved a few frames off of that last shot by dashing and doing a short wall dash as his I frames were active. Regardless, you still got that juicy pb, so congrats!
these games r harder than they look! i used to play trhese games as a kid all t he time! but now that im a boomer and havent played them for almost 30 years they seem so much harder! the input lag alone makes it seem super hard for me lol
