The Captain breaking the curse after 22 events is up there for the greatest moment in MCC history without a doubt.

@@ynaclinic1612 sadly i think that decision screwed them. the rounds they did the best on were the ones with dream shooting but i think he wanted to let george shoot. george unfortunately kept missing but typically he’s a deadeye on the field so i can understand the thought (easily the dream teams best shot back in mcc 11)
I gotta say, i think tommy's aggressive positivity strategy really did wonders for this mcc. a lot of other teams have let captain criticise his own performance mid-game and bring the energy down pretty early in the event. having tommy (and purpled, to an extent) aggressively shut down negative comments in favour of having captain focus on boosting the rest of the team did wonders for the morale and was a help in nailing down that historical win.
I'm not someone that watches Tommy just due to me liking a little calmer energy, but I definitely liked the aggressive positivity. It does seem like it did wonders, and I think it spread to all of the other team members as well. I think they had a lot of fun this MCC
Tommy talks to himself and makes a lot of inside jokes and references and I didn’t really notice when I mainly watched him but from anyone else’s pov he sounds like an insane person
More a little bit annoying, especially never self censoring for teammates who do non swearing content. It’s not an issue for me personally, and I understand when it slips out occasionally, but it was a bit constant and inconsiderate lol
It feels nice... though, as someone who watched through dream's pov, it felt very "odds stacked against you" during it. Glad there were some who chose to support red at least. Even if they didn't fully mean it... which still kinda sucks.

Before this MCC, Sparklez has been in all other 21 cannon MCCs, team score placed 3rd 7 times with a very small score difference from 2nd several times, being in Dodgebolt 3 times but never won a single round, got clean swept by Dream the last time he's in Dodgebolt and faced Dream in Dodgebolt again this MCC. This man's been dealing with "odds stacked against you" for two and a half years, surely that everyone wanted him to win at least one event. For this event, Sparklez deserved this win way more than Dream. That's why there's such an overwhelming audience preference. If Dream really felt "odds stacked against you" this time, well then deal with it. Performing well under pressure is also an essesntial skill in these kinds of events. And don't get me wrong I'm not a Dream hater, I watch Dream and Dsmp all the time. I just really hate to see when people always praises Dream and Dream only.

rewatching this, everyone in this team was /so/ pivotal: purple's performance in dodgebolt was absolutely cracked as well as his comms. oli kept his head together when everyone was starting to panic at the end of sot. and tommy's aggressive positivity bounced off so well too after that disastrous battle box. our captain couldn't have asked for a better team, and watching this live was such a treat. congrats to 22 mcc's!!!

I've watched every MCC the captain's been in. There have been some really high highs and some low lows. But this trumps them all. What an ending! The tension, excitement, and the captain taking the last shot was a satisfying end to 2 years of buildup.

I was so happy when he won that first round of dodgebolt, I literally started crying from happiness. I don't know if I've ever been more happy and proud before. Jordan, you deserved this more than anyone else. I've been watching live since MCC 13 and it was so worth it. I've had my doubts about this team, they had a few chaotic moments when communication wasn't perfect, but I decided to stay hopeful. And it paid off SO MUCH. Purpled was a great leader and he seems to be becoming a new S-tier. Oli had his best performance by a long shot, he exceeded all expectations and boosted the team's morale. Tommy was a great hunter and shot some very nice shots in dodgebolt. They did so well in Meltdown, Parkour Tag, Hole in the Wall, Sands of Time and TGTTOS, their team never dropped below 3rd in overall scoring. Jordan did so well in Hole in the Wall, getting the best performance on his team, and TGTTOS, finishing 2nd and 3rd in two rounds. That dodgebolt was amazing, the best one so far. I was already happy when he won the first round, because of a sentence on his MCC wiki page that stated that he and Jack Manifold are the only two players to have been in multiple dodgebolts and never win a round. Well, not anymore! And then, he and his team managed to beat Dream, the one who had a 100% DB winrate. It's really interesting how the one who has never lost dodgebolt just lost to someone who hasn't won dodgebolt before. Especially since Dream decimated Jordan's team in MCC 15 after trying to help him win. MCC 22 finale was a historic moment indeed. It was such a good feeling to finally see him with that crown, on that pedestal, and in the hall of fame. The Jerry by his side makes this more special too. So many other players were rooting for him. At least 5 full teams. It's so nice to see how he's earned the respect and sympathy of other participants. I can't wait for him to show us that coin! And now that he's taking a break, I might watch Quig next? I've really grown fond of him thanks to the Bedwars games he played with Jordan. Thank you so much for giving me this memory and joy, Jordan. "I was here".

It's always so hard to choose a stream to watch when I see people I typically watch playing. This time, I was watching Grian's, and he was SO excited that Captain won. I was excited as well since the last time I had watched Captain for the MCC was the last time he was in dodgebolt. It's amazing that it's here though! I'm so happy he's won, and hopefully he'll reach that point now of just having a lot of fun since that pressure is gone.
Not only there was 3 new winners. We got a new S Tier. New game. BM gets skipped again. But, the curse was also broken. BEST MCC, gonna be hard to defeat this one.

this was SUCH a historical MCC cause you have Captain's first win (and Oli's and Purpled's as well), first time Pink Parrots won without Dream on the team, first time Dream lost dodgebolt therefor ruining his 100% streak, first time Captain's team placed 1st overall in the event, i think first time Captain's team never went below 3rd place overall in the event, first time playing Meltdown (that game looks like SO much fun), first time with Space Race being to the right instead of the left, first time we have the mega switch where all players are in the dome and it happened TWICE this MCC, i think this is a first time TGTTOS finale? so many firsts and i'm so happy and proud!

Winning with these guys- I think this team showed not only how balanced Scott makes these that everyone had equal chance, but just how well "less good players" are doing. It proves you don't need s tiers or people who sweep every dodgebolt to win.
I'm a RUclips watcher because of the timezones, but I always tuned in for the MMCs since the very start and I never missed Cap's pov. This has been a long time coming considering extreme bad luck missing so many dodgebolts by a thread. Teamed with so many S tier players when they underperformed and then did very well in the edition after. It has finally happened and it's sweeter because it was long awaited. Dodgebolt era for Cap, let's manifest.
small thing I have realized is that caps first dodgebolt was with tommy and finally his winning dodgebolt is also with tommy. Turns out to break the curse he needed to team with the one that started the curse.

It's always so hard to choose a stream to watch when I see people I typically watch playing. This time, I was watching Grian's, and he was SO excited that Captain won. I was excited as well since the last time I had watched Captain for the MCC was the last time he was in dodgebolt. It's amazing that it's here though! I'm so happy he's won, and hopefully he'll reach that point now of just having a lot of fun since that pressure is gone.
It's also interesting how they are currently the only pink team to win without Dream being on it.

this was SUCH a historical MCC cause you have Captain's first win (and Oli's and Purpled's as well), first time Pink Parrots won without Dream on the team, first time Dream lost dodgebolt therefor ruining his 100% streak, first time Captain's team placed 1st overall in the event, i think first time Captain's team never went below 3rd place overall in the event, first time playing Meltdown (that game looks like SO much fun), first time with Space Race being to the right instead of the left, first time we have the mega switch where all players are in the dome and it happened TWICE this MCC, i think this is a first time TGTTOS finale? so many firsts and i'm so happy and proud!

Winning with these guys- I think this team showed not only how balanced Scott makes these that everyone had equal chance, but just how well "less good players" are doing. It proves you don't need s tiers or people who sweep every dodgebolt to win.

I'm a RUclips watcher because of the timezones, but I always tuned in for the MMCs since the very start and I never missed Cap's pov. This has been a long time coming considering extreme bad luck missing so many dodgebolts by a thread. Teamed with so many S tier players when they underperformed and then did very well in the edition after. It has finally happened and it's sweeter because it was long awaited.
