The situation was so organic then evolved to the most pure and skilled and talented fir of surfing I ever seen. All sealed with the biggest smile of Mitch riding that wave effortless and dolphings as well 🤯🏄♂️🌊🐬🐬🐬 Thank you for capturing this "unduplicable" moment in history.
A saying here in Brazil says: "who steals from a thief get a hundred years of forgiveness". That clip shows it all, even the dolphins celebrated the karma.
Everyone who gets dropped in on has this exact scenario playing in our minds, usually while getting rag dolled underwater trying to figure out which way is up.
I spent a few years on waveboards before moving up to surfing and windsurfing I still have my paddle from those days and its got divots taken out of the leading edges of each side from pushing people who dropped in on me back off the wave with my paddle...Often using part of their face as a fulcrum.
I literally live on the side of a mountain over a thousand miles away from any ocean, never even seen the ocean, and I think this is the coolest thing ever!
I love how the dolphins are just joining folk on the waves doing the same. Incredible animals. Every mammal doing that there is doing it for the sheer joy.
@@failtolawl Dolphins definitely do just play around sometimes. I can't say for sure in this instance what they were doing. It is possible that they were just hanging out.

We have a small beach that doesn't get as much action as the main ones here and they always drop past just to catch some waves or do a few hot laps of the beach strip. They are so mellow some even let you get close and touch them but that is also kinda rare.

I highly doubt that was staged...but, if it was--I hope those dolphins @ the end were well-compensated for their contributions...to be able to surf so effortlessly & stylishly & creatively is really a gift...I love this video!

I only noticed the dolphin because of earlier comments, but it seems pretty clear he was also enthused by those "mad skillz". It's safe to say we'll likely find this clip in future "Like a Boss" compilations.
