The good old days when you can actually pass the ball to your teammate.
The way EA run Ultimate Team makes me think that gamemode should just become free to play; it would somewhat justify the obscene micro-transactions, and help them progess the game as an e-sport (like counterstrike and Rocket League are f2p)

Pes did it with the Lite versions in 2020 and 2021, it would be a great idea you know... Besides UT is practically the only game mode I play...

Imagine playing Ultimate Team, a cash grab mode that doesn't allow you to carry cards over to the next year and includes dead people, and caring about women. If you don't play Career Mode or Pro Clubs, you're a failure.

Inconsistent gameplay is intentionally built into the game. The exact same problem has been an issue since at least FIFA 10, they don't have to implement scripting, dda, momentum or whatever into the game when they know that most of the gamers will keep on playing their bs game and that it takes a really long time before someone decides to quit playing Fifa for good.
Btw Playstyles, archetypes, perks and streaks are types of (M) DDA. Only difference is the visibility for the gamer...
My problems with FC24
1. When i get a counter attack, strikers just blindly run into offsides like a headles chicken. The ai is so dumb! they just cant run on the offside line.
2. For whatever reason, players always take an etra touch before a shot or a pass.
3. My players some how always pass the ball too close to oponents even if there is ample space.
4. Keepers can save almost every close range shot but will let a not so powerful outside the box shot into the net.
5. My defender suddenly becom immoble when the opponent is doing twists aand turns around my 18rd box.
6. Through balls have become quite a chore and players just cant pass the ball into space.
7. Switching the right player is always chore when defending.
My guy couldn't have made a better list! I hope this is all fixed in the next game or else we are all doomed 😅
8. For whatever reason when i am making a cross while inside the box it always finds the option that is at the far post if i have 2 or mor otions, and never gets to the player that is in the middle no matter how hard you try.😅😅😅

I bought fc24 for £10.99 to play a more up-to-date and realistic career save. Well worth it imo

It's not football anymore, it's makes no sense, relies on "power" moves , online is just too laggy 90% of the time making the game unplayable and unfair, add in EA making pack luck NOT random but managed this game is made like a drug to get you addicted and extract money or your time because without money or time you won't be able to keep up. And answer me this why is it easier to score outside the box shots than inside? Why does the game alter passes when even set to manual ? It's diabolical.
Everyone should have the same settings be it manual or whatever everyone should be on the same pressure settings I can't be changing it on a weekly basis or after every patch. Also why are there still bugs in the game 9 months after release. Here's an idea why not improve the gane every year with better graphics and fine tune the gameplay you have rather than keep rewriting the gameplay ? Every year it gets slower and more AI driven it's more like watching an interactive movie than playing a fucking game.
I'm hanging up my boots this game has killed my soul...

I cant believe players are only now raging because their beloved fut mode is going to waste. Not like everything outside fut wasnt already in a steep downfall for the past like 5 editions…
Totally agree with you. FIFA24 is trash and possibly the worst FIFA game. The game feels like one of those scam mobile games where you either spend a year playing to get good rewards or break your wallet buying diamonds to buy packs. They had a good opportunity with the transfer market feature but then all the players you get in the rewards packs can’t sell them to generate money. It’s ridiculous stupid tbh. Also the gameplay overall is horrible. You can have a player with 94 Pace and still get beat by a slow defender. You can have a player 3 meters away and your pass goes somewhere else or to your opponent. When you shoot 9 out of 10 you will hit the post. The game feels like the player is not in control and more so that the cpu controls who wins the game by giving one of the player the advantage. I regret buying the game and so far played it 2 in the last 3 months. Previous versions were better.
this game is such a headache😭. As a kid i’d never play fifa a lot but when offer i’ll play, but i wanted to start playing fifa so i started at the end of fifa 23, leading to the beginning of fc 24 when i actually start playing. but this entire year just been a mess for just ultimate team for me and being some one who love these types of game, playing a lot of myteam on 2k over the years it’s disappointing to see how bad ea fc is especially since you would think a big company as ea could do better and the realism is horrible i play futbol in real life and nothing could match the un realistic ways of this game 🤦♂️

These 3 or 4 same cutscenes before every game are so boring and bad animated. There are not even the real player tunnels anymore only this one generic one in every stadium.

A thing a hate about Fc 24 is That i only play career mode (who plays ultimate team) I get sacked more often because I didn’t sing “174 3 years old left goalkeepers from southern Burundi” even if I won the septuple
I heard a lot of others have the same issues, unfortunately the only way I know to have a better experience with this is mods on PC

God I miss fifa. 18 was the last decent one. 13-16 was the golden age.
Every year I used to buy these games since a very long time. This was the first year ever that I did not buy it. I did install it the other night on Ps Plus, it's absolutely horrible. The last amazing FIFA game was Fifa 16 for me. IGNITE Engine was superior to Frostshite, and also the old DEVS were better. This is not the same EA SPORTS anymore...New devs......WOMEN mixed with men.... Lol./

Nope I think FIFA held EA back from certain packs and prices there was never a 40 50 pound pack when under FIFA name. I played FIFA from the very first one the the last one. I thinking of not getting a the new FC 25.

Appreciate you looking out but I'm gonna have to disagree with you here. If you think the name and menus aren't a selling point, then you've haven't been playing Fifa games that long. It's like saying you're ok with the brand "Nike" changing their name to "Checkmark" and they're checkmark designs change to something more simple on shoes... you would most likely not be ok with that and you're less encouraged to buy from them now. As far as gameplay wise, there is no satisfaction of playing simple ball and using same broken tactics to win games.
