I met Carol at the 1986 FIQ in Helsinki Finland we were both 16,the Aussies are so much fun,my buddies & I bowled against Chris Barnes for 20$ per game in 1992 down in Miami ,I won one game,Chris won one lol, his wife was there watching,she wasn’t his wife as yet,wow time flies ..
I ate Grapenuts cereal in the 1960s, but not very often. My brother and I preferred sugary cereals like sugar coated Rice Krinkles, and Post Sugar Crisp. LOL! Being a born in 1949 'Baby Boomer', I LOVE seeing these old t.v. commercials! Brings back such heartwarming memories of a time gone by.

Joy Esterson would have destroyed everyone if she stayed on tour. Think there was one tournament I think a year before this where she was averaging 235 or something through qualifying. She had TONS of potential. Not to mention she was one of the most attractive chick bowlers out there...before Daria Pajak and Danielle McEwan came along lol
Thanks for posting. ESPN graphics department doesn't know spit about bowling, though. The scorecard covered over 90% of the shot 90% of the time. It would nice to at least see where the bowlers were laying down their shots on the lane.
I can't believe they put Barnes in the booth with his wife bowling.

Oh my God, I thought Sandy, Del, and Jeri was never going to shut up. The bowlers stood there for 3 minutes waiting to bowl.

She doesn't compete anymore on tour .... when you were watching this video, it shows at 26:38 that she won a tournament in the year before this video, 2007. She won in October of that year in the special PBA Women's Series Championships held in October of 07". She beat Liz Johnson for the title. It is on RUclips " 2007 Lake County Indiana Classic .... so if you want to see more of Joy .... google it on RUclips !!!

Am I the only one who finds the clapping immediately after throwing the ball irritating? It is just as bad as the clapping the PBA Tour used to allow throughout the bowler's delivery during the early 2000s.
They only clap after the shot has been thrown. What's wrong with that?
