CrystVeno it actually wasn’t because it actually had a lot behind it. Basically Harry died forgiving Peter which is a call back to when the first goblin died. I mean it was sad for him to die, but it was the best for the film’s sake.

God their teamwork and their chemistry is just so damn beautiful that it brings tears to my eyes. These two were the best duo out of the spiderman movies. It really shows that they are best friends in how they fight together. Which just makes it all of the more painful to see Harry sacrifice himself for his best friend :’)

Still one of the best superhero movies of all time
I don't know why people are so hard on this movie. The only thing I believe this movie really needed was time. Had they decided to end it off nicely at a certain point early on. They could've made a nice part 2 to tie it up. Sure a few of the evil peter scenes felt forced but they had their charms. I can only imagine how Toby's Spiderman would've fought against Thanos. Really sad we won't ever get to see him in the Avengers. Captain America 1, Iron Man 1 and 2, Thor 1, and the Incredible Hulk all had that old Raimi feel. It could've worked out just fine, but oh well. Also I thought Venom looked good in this film. I don't get what the whole deal is about him not being big enough. I think he looks ridiculous when he's really fucking huge. Here, he had the build of a body builder and just legitimately looked like an evil, fitter Spiderman.

Say what you want about this movie but it's actually pretty good and way ahead of it's time. The only reason it had some negative reviews was because it had to many overly packed stories, one to many villains and some disliked Topher grace's perfomance as eddie brock/venom since many thought that he should have been bulkier, taller and muscular(as well as the fact that venom also had limited screen time), But other than that it was received some positive reviews such as the battle scenes and the special effects i mainly like the giant sandman scene.
ngl Venom needed more screentime in this fight scene and before the fight scene. But its still one of my fav movies.

Watching this trilogy in retrospective it doesn't seem too far off from what the Marvel movies are now. i think Feige took this trilogy as a blueprint for what the MCU movies would be like at least regarding the tone and humor.
It was still more serious than what Jon Watts did with his Spider-Man movies.

Originally, I hated Harry's Goblin armor, I wanted him to wear his father's Green Goblin armor or a Hobgoblin variation, you can even see a silver Goblin mask in the Goblin workshop that could've been for a Hobgoblin suit. But I think I understand why they did it this way, because they wanted Harry to look less like a monster and look more heroic, especially when Peter and Harry team up against Venom and Sandman, so I guess I can understand that. I mean, I don't think it would've looked like a good picture if Spidey actually teamed up with Harry in Goblin armor.
