This is a highly underrated song of SRV's, maybe because it wasn't on an album but my gawd....I close my eyes and can see SRV playing it unplugged on MTV. I'm a huge fan of pilky27, greg, jamie harrison and a few more but you have quickly joined that list of favs for me. As usual, amazing playing and I'm still offering a trade. My right hand for yours!

Stevie was playing a Gibson L1 I think. I wish he'd played more acoustic stuff live because he was amazing unplugged. Same with Jimi Hendrix - only a few reels of film with him playing acoustic. Both died tragically young. That was a great rendition BTW.
