That was going to be my question. There are also many Palestinian children who are orphans. I just saw a video of a little Palestinian girl who had to have her legs amputated .... 😢....there are thousands of Palestinian children who will suffer for the rest of their lives.... where are those stories.??? Israel finally released Palestinians who have been imprisoned since they were children and are now young adults over inconsequential violations like having your hijab fall off or throwing rocks.... None of the Palestinian stories are out here in the news. I have had to find them thru independent news sources. US news media is only telling us one side of the story ,- Israel - while totally ignoring the other side - Palestine......😡😡😡... Israel is NOT innocent in this mess.

They're not being interviewed on camera because they're still receiving medical treatment and recovering mentally; remember that most of these kids are until 10, so they're more traumatized. Also because what they can say can be heard by hamas. the information they're getting from the hostages will hopefully be used to find other hostages

My heart goes out to the Israeli prisoners released and all that they've gone through! That said, why are there no videos of the Palestinian women and children released form Israeli prisons and their stories? I feel like coverage would be more complete if it showed the whole picture from BOTH sides of the issue.

Their stories? You can find their name and search. Nothing special about those people. Except that they tried to act as terrorists or in violence and got arrested and imprisoned.

You can find some pro Palestinian websites in English where you can see a list. But the stories being told there about these people are propaganda. Mostly a very one sided view and description.

For his supposed actions, Moshe received a commendation from the police. However, he sustained injuries in the attack, including burns to his face and chest. Jaabis was evacuated to hospital in Jerusalem with burns to her entire body.[2] Shin Bet also said notes expressing support for "martyrs" were discovered on Jaabis.[3][4]

If you listen, they're speaking in Hebrew to tell them to wave, shake hands, etc. Most of the hostages have multiple family members in Gaza and/or are scared to disobey because of the October 7th attack. They were not treated well, and regardless, they were still KIDNAPPED!! If someone took you from your home and hid you underground for 50 days without anything of yours and just some food/water as needed, would you be happy if people said, "but look, she/he was treated so nicely!" No, you'd be horrified. It's the double standard that it's Israel. If this was any other country, you'd have a different reaction and I don't doubt it for a second!

😢😢😢@@Maryane57 Oh I really hope not, I have a relative in Israel and the thinking is that perhaps this family with the baby was placed in the south with a Palestinian family where they would be safer than in the tunnels. and they can't locate the whole family or access them. Sounds a bit far fetched but I am very concerned about this baby, his brother and his mother, it seems very odd that as the youngest child apart from the newborn baby, he has not been released yet. I am even more worried now. The Israeli officials or the Red Cross should have insisted on his immediate release. Hamas have dictated this hostage release far too much. They are getting so many prisoners out of Israeli prisons, many more than the hostages they are releasing, I don't see why Red Cross, as an independent humanitarian organisation cannot insist on this baby's release along with his mother and brother.

In this case, various international protection agreements apply to fighters for freedom against colonialism, occupation, or persecution, granting legal status to groups exercising this right to legitimate resistance, allowing them to confront colonialism and occupation. The United Nations General Assembly, in its Resolution 3246 of 14/12/1974, affirmed the legitimacy of the right of peoples to armed struggle for liberation from occupation and stated that any attempt to suppress armed struggle against colonial domination, foreign occupation, and racist regimes violates the UN Charter, the principles of international law governing international relations and cooperation between states, and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Some of the hostages have been starved. It takes a real monster to subject them to this kind of torture.

The only thing this Israeli palestinian conflict helped me realize, is that Israel is a racist, apartheid state. For my entire life I was fed one sided news showing Israel in a good light. Now, I better understand why this conflict has not resolved in 75 years. Palestinians are not fighting for land or religion. They're fighting against oppression and to be treated with dignity and not as 2nd class citizens. Israel will never find peace should it continue as an apartheid state.

Not only that both of Abigails parents were killed, but her dad was holding her when he was shot in the back, he fell over and covered her with his body when he died. The one problem will be Iran backed groups which don't want peace, they want total annihilation of Israel. I think there needs to be total worldwide pressure on Iran, Lebanon (Hezbollah) to stop meddling in this and that way the other Arab nations can pressure Palestinian authorities to come to a peaceful two state solution. I don't think Hamas is going away because they are after all, doing prisoner exchange and ceasefire so there has to be more to this agreement than we know.
This is a complex situation for sure, but enough is enough. Israel needs to accept its many injustices and transgressions and Hamas needs to accept its part in derailing the peace process and terrorizing both Israeli and Palestinian citizens for decades now. The world can do something, if we all truly care for it.

That pain just allows for hate and need for "justice" (ie vengeance) to fester.
