The conversation that khun nueng and anueng had was just so deep. I really love how Anueng keep assuring Khun nueng, she can be playful and tease KN a lot but she also knows how to be serious in this kind of situation. Also faye's acting is superbb like THE EYES, she knows how to express them. I CAN'T WAIT ANOTHER WEEK!

Yoko acted very well over here in this episode. Right from getting angry with Khun Neung during driving lessons, to getting bored with adult talk over meal, to explaining with assurance that age gap will never stop her from loving Khun Neung. There's a matured adult in the making when in love. Yoko has brought out this transformation very well.
I was thinking the same thing! I know Faye is amazing, but Yoko captured my soul with her acting! It's incredible how he can move from one mood to another and make us perceive it perfectly as in reality!

some people don't appreciate the storyline of this series at all.. like they find it gross to have such a huge age gap. wait 'til you reach a certain age and moreso if you fall in love with a person with such a huge gap, you'll feel deeply connected to this series. also, you'll also understand KN's perspective and not get frustrated everytime she tend to let go of the relationship. i say blank's market is those who are more mature, higher age. 😊
Totally agree! As we get older, we definitely have more stuff to worry about. KN is not just worried and insecure about starting a new relationship with someone much younger but also about how that might limit the younger person's future. We know feelings come and go; love isn't just about "owning" the person you love. She's also dealing with family conflicts and regrets, along with her own responsibilities and Nueng's family. Plus, she needs to stay super focused on building her career and handling the responsibilities of her status and the expenses of the palace. Critics will get it if they rewatch this years later when they're more mature.

TBH, this series makes me emotionally unstable yet i like it.
Khun Neung was in a very deep sarrow with her grandmother's death and how they didn't reconcile in time. I think that's why Khun Neung cared so much about the relationship between Aneung and her grandmother. It's not just due to the age gap, but also due to different life experience.
@@lucykuotw yeah but if you really love the person, watever it takes you need to fight for them 'cause you will never know if you can still be with them in the future. You will end up regretting everything when it is too late. And not everyone is lucky enough having second or third chances. I think Khun Nueng didn't really realized this but she kept loosing someone in her life because she kept running away than to face it.

The last scene of this episode could be counted as the most touching scene of the show so far. The way they understand each other, sometimes without speaking a word out. Most of its credit goes to Anueng, even though it's a fictional character the qualities she exhibits are so emotionally matured❤ This scene needs be viewed more often only by the people who adore the core of a relationship. I ❤ it ❤. Either the first kiss or the 1st intimacy couldn't surpass this feeling in my heart when I watched it

But the responsibilities and dilemmas pile up. We know feelings come and go; what really makes a relationship last is how well the couple communicates, their lifestyle, perspectives on the world, and how they grow together. So yeah, a big age gap can be a real challenge. I think that's what older folks worry about more.

One theory has matured, after reading (I can’t find where exactly) that the ending of the series is not sad, but not happy either. And therefore, it was changed in order to maintain intrigue and create the effect of surprise.
Let's imagine that in the end Ar-Nueng did not keep her promise to “never leave or let Anueng alone again” (ep. 3. 4/4). She chose not to fight for her love, she simply gave in to her family. I don’t even know how many times Anueng said that she doesn’t feel comfortable with them, that they are strangers to her (they lived here and lived here, the girl has grown up, and now they are playing at parents!!! Without investing anything, they want obedience, understanding and unconditional love, buying her attention with expensive gifts - it’s so soulless). She is sent to America, where she feels even more alone than when she grew up with her grandmother.....
30 years have passed, she returns home. Walking through familiar terrain, she discovers that she has reached the gallery that Ar-Nueng opened at one time. Entering it, she sees a photo (painting) on the wall, this awakens all her past memories and experienced feelings (ep. 2. 3/4) - Anueng invites Ar-Nueng to place her photo in the garden to make the gallery look better ). Overwhelmed with emotions, she quickly went to the exit, trying to take a breath. At the door she meets Ar-Nueng (there is also a moment where Anueng tells Ar-Nueng that when she is 70 and she is 85, they will look almost the same and society will perceive them as normal, and that she will take care of her) . Having met Anueng, she understands that she is ultimately “stuck” in the sorrows of the past... “I’m here to take care of you,” said Anueng.” - She keeps her promise, as always.
It's really not exactly a happy and sad ending. Living life like this is very heartbreaking. And I hope that in the end, on our land there will be only happy endings, where two people, having met each other, will not endure so much pain from others.
(P.S.: may the Almighty protect me, but I will write this: if this were so, then it is precisely this act that makes Ar-Nueng Anueng unworthy. Royal blood, status - shouldn’t this determine her strength of character. There is no king who is a coward before life. Granny was right when, in the first episode before the wedding, she said, smiling, that she was wondering how far she was ready to go.
