    • @Sri-wg3ne
      @Sri-wg3ne 3 года назад +3

      Your comment is very wrong. Money only changes people because all humans are inherently good only. You are saying it reveals people, are you saying all humans are inherently bad and money only exposes them? Your comment sounds very dangerous.

    • @johnmathew8543
      @johnmathew8543 3 года назад +2

      @@Sri-wg3ne nothing wrong with thinking like u but you sound naive to be living in this world. Take away food and water for a month from your so called inherently good people, they will step at each other's throats to fulfill their needs. We are primarily animals after all and we have inherent survival instincts which is "take care of ourselves first and then think of others". Every single person has evil inside them it's just most of us didn't have the true opportunity to reveal our true self to others. It doesn't mean we are good people. A good person is the one who has the capacity to do all the evil in this world and then chooses not to., a person who don't have that capacity is just harmless like a vegetable.

    • @johnmathew8543
      @johnmathew8543 3 года назад

      And most of us in the world are harmless, because we didn't have the status and power that the money brings which then helps us to act out our true nature. Think of the last time you were so angry and the thoughts that ran through your head, money just gives you the opportunity to act out. Harmless people when given an opportunity (money) will try to act out their deepest desires no matter how good they were at first. So money is a good thing, it magnifies all your choices and capabilities. Money is like a knife and only the holder of the knife can decide whether to kill with it or to to good in this world with it. Unfortunately for most of us since we are not good we are just harmless we tend to gravitate towards evil once we have money. I acknowledge that i have evil in me and I have decided to do good with my evil. A person who says he is not evil is just ignorant. Our Indian soldiers who I respect the most for protecting us has to sometimes kill other people even though it's for a good reason of protecting us, it takes a certain evil inside a man to do that act. Have a nice day

    • @Sri-wg3ne
      @Sri-wg3ne 3 года назад

      @@johnmathew8543 Haha just because they are stepping at each other's throats it would not make them bad. In fact, in such a scenario the very equation of good bad becomes obsolete. The only problem becomes that of survival and not surviving
      Your comment sounds very very immature and dangerous. Human beings are social creatures. Human beings are thinking beings. In fact, even for survival human beings have to act socially to produce what they require for consumption. That is how civilization has evolved and we are where we are right now. Even when humans lived as hunter gatherers, humans did not live as individual creatures pouncing upon each other. You speak in reverse. It is not because of their inherent evilness that humans compete and fight with each other. It is because of material conditions(abundance or scarcity) that converts them to good or bad(in your language). Once material conditions are satisfied one can bring out the true nature of human beings, which can be summed up by the famous quote that man is a social animal. Again. Your comment sounds extremely dangerous, if not imbecile.

      Don't throw around the word Nepotism carelessly like this, Nepotism means a huge background with all sorts of connections so that you need to put ZERO work to grow because you are preventing others from growing also. You will see this everywhere in the Indian scenario. Just because Selva's father was in this industry you are joking that it is nepotism. Selva's father grew up in poverty, so did Selva, so did Dhanush. Same goes for Ilaiyaraaja's family. They are just supporting each other to help their family and contribute something to their respective fields. They don't hold 'power' to block anyone's entry into their field or to transform it as they please.

    Hi baddy,
    ...................(I hope you read this)...................
    I just expected atleast one reviewer to touch on the fact that, Selvaraghavan literally shook hands with the Great Russian writer Fyodor Dostoevsky.
    He just made a subtle reference to the poem named - "The Grand Inquisitor" from the novel "The Brothers Karamazov".
    It's a wonderful piece ever written - where a religious cardinal will be seen asking question to a chained person in an underground prison who is claimed to be "Jesus Christ" by others and this happens around circa 1500 AD as per the novel time line.
    Here the cardinal will question the chained man like this -
    "Why have you come to get in our way? For you have come to get in our way, and
    you yourself know it. But do you know what will happen tomorrow?"!
    Along the above lines, Ramsay will say to Mariam before the climax encounter that, if you would've revealed that you're really the Christ by the time you entered our home, we would've done nothing to you. And also Ramsay will add that his character is the whole summary of evilness, which infact is the characteristics of every human living in this world. And then the Fight starts...
    Selvaraghavan indeed wants to tell us a story about Good vs. Evil through 'Nenjam Marappadhillai' and for those who can feel this Dostoevsky connect will know that Selva is a "True Genius".
    Disclaimer: I'm not a Selva kanni! I just imagined this connect to be intriguing that's it.

The movie starts with a stage where the persons in his life are his world and later, God is getting added into his world and taking everyone out of his own world due to the devil's sins. that's why in the middle portions of movies We are able to see that Whenever the LUST portion or killing portion(dog) comes, the devil's depiction comes into the screen itself in the 1st place!

    • @ajaysaiMB
      @ajaysaiMB 3 года назад +2

      @@saranramasamy2860 I think what he meant was NM will make him a star because of HIS performance and not because of the movie itself. But I believe that Iravaa Kaalam will be a better film with a more "normal" performance with zero eccentricity from SJ Suriya's side.

    Selvaraghavan is an intellectual. It is a sad commentary on him that he is ignorant about E.V.R & his legacy. Behind E.V.R's coarse language & illiteracy is there an extremely logical, truthful & above all a rationalist person.
    Lord Buddha was the first atheist in India 2560 years back. He denied every aspect of belief in Hinduism - God, Permant Athma, rituals, caste etc.. He was from a ruling royal clan. His language & advocacy of his views were polite, civilized & persuasive.
    The only difference is their language one being rough & the other refined. There is no fundamental difference between their policies.
    Atheism is not bad. Most intellectuals are aethists, past & present like Buddha & E .V.R. if atheism were bad, how could it be that Buddhism, an atheist religion (after disappearance from India) has been flourishing in 11 countries, including Japan & China.
    Whereas Hinduism couldn't spread outside India because of its inherent deficiencies & dichotomy like caste structure.
