Like everyone else here, found this song on Tales From The Borderlands years ago. I had completely forgotten about it until it randomly popped into my head. Been going through a lot the past few years, and it's been tough to keep going at times. I needed to hear this.

Awsome song. But I think that the music video would be so much better if it were like sinamtic shots of whatever in slow motion. Where the object is moving in one direction as a constant motion. "Kinda like a car" where the camera is following the object and rotates around the object with zoom in shots of like cool buts of it. Then like every other half step beat the camera would quicly move to a new point of interest while the object remains in it's slowmotionionrst

The RUclips comment text box has prompted me to share my thoughts, and I plan to do just that, so if you're just here to enjoy some good music, that's fine - do just that.
But if you listen to this song closely, it is more than the catchy guitar strum riff that got you hooked. When I listen to this song, I listen closely, and in doing so I hear what Shawn Lee was trying to say with this piece, and I understand why he chose this man in particular (I fully apologize for forgetting his name) to sing this. You can just tell from some people when they sing that it's coming from their heart, and other songs you can just tell that it's for the money and fame.
The message that you hear isn't so much of something for you to relate with as it is something to inspire you. Take a moment to savor the inevitably taboo bitterness of
"too late to keep the world from dying."
But...
"Keep at it to the end and past the end you will be strong."
The video isn't meaningless. People staring at the camera isn't meant to be cliche. This song was good enough to be made into a music video, and Shawn Lee was probably the one to choose that particular theme in this video --
This song is for you, You as in YOU, the People of the world. The people in this video are all average people! There is nothing, NOTHING about them that screams "different."
