Hi. How would you compare Bulthaup against Poggenpohl outside of looks? Consider Functionality, Storage solutions, soft close and smooth opening, fit & Finish and Price. Also can you point me out to your Poggenpohl video as I can’t seem to find it. Thank you!
We thought all three brands are high quality and designed thoughtfully but has different characteristic. Poggenpohl has a bold and masculine design that would go well in a grand kitchen, it can give you a chic and extravagant feeling. Siematic seem to focus more on practical side of the design, very straight forward and less decorative, user friendly. Bulthaup in our mind tries to make the design a bit more homey and settled down, use more curves - it is a German brand and has the German brand quality we like but also feels a bit more feminine and decorative in a way like a French brand. To me the other two felt a bit tall and bulkier. I imagine a kitchen with nice sun shining through, sitting there with a cup of coffee with nice background music and Bulthaup felt the most comfortable among three in my mind. It really depends on what image you have in mind for a kitchen I guess!
