Initially I was very pleased with this vacuum cleaner and the suction. However, the suction disappeared just a couple of months on. Changing all the filters and thorough cleaning of the insides of the vac, helped only marginally and for a very short time. The suction is now completely gone and we are looking for a new vacuum cleaner. Very disappointed.

Same for me except that at first the suction was so strong I couldn't move it over the carpet! Now of course it's pretty much useless.

Oh yes, I remember that happening also. Even my husband struggled moving it!

The valve on the side of the pipe can alter the strength of the suction open it slightly till you get the suction you want

You have the foot pedal on the floornozzle in the FLOOR POSITION. To return it to carpet, push the pedal BACKWARDS
