    Wrong. This is 3/4 with accents.
    6/8 at 60 BPM should be 60 dotted quarters per minute, which is three quavers per second.
    This is because 6/8 is a compound duple time. A compound time is a metre in which every beat is divided in three pulses.
    This is 6/8 at 40 BPM, as there are 120 quavers in a minutes; as they should be grouped in three, we got 120/3 = 40 BPM.

    I'm not understanding how this is 60bpm, neither the clicks nor the pulse is close to 60bpm.
    Do I just not understand how tempo works with odd time signatures or is this wrong?

    • @fishforce545
      @fishforce545 2 года назад +2

      It’s the time sig. 60 bpm is correct its because its 6 beats in 8 counts. Something like that idk how to explain the logic but this is technically how time sigs work like 5/4 is 5 beats in a 4 bar and 7/4 is 7 beats in a 4 bar its weird. That’s why they’re called odd time sigs.
