The rosary played a big part in my conversion from Protestantism and atheism. I had always loved the art, the beauty, the rigor of rite, and the rosary always called to me most, curiously. I would always visit Catholic Churches in town centers in my travels. All in awe. One time I went into the cathedral in Rio de Janeiro and I finally decided to buy a rosary after I had been to a couple of months in mass back home. When I prayed the rosary for the first time, I cried so much! So, so much. When it ended with Hail Holy Queen, I cried much more and I was safe. That’s when I new I was a Catholic, so I started catechism. The other pivotal artifact in my conversion was Confessions by Saint Augustine. That’s a whole other testimony in itself tho.
I came home Easter Vigil 2022 in spite the things happening in the church- I came home because this is Christ’s Church and I must be where He is. Our Lady put me in front of Christ and John 6 brought me to the Catholic Church. To Jesus thru Mary! VIVA CRISTO REY!
One of the reasons I came back Home, was the fact that She was under such a huge attack. The enemy was definitely showing those who were paying attention, that the Catholic Church was the real deal. @@momiowa9509It’s all about Jesus. Mary is all about Jesus. Mary’s only desire is to fulfill the will of God and lead everyone to Jesus, her Son and her Savior. Mary’s soul magnifies the Lord and rejoices in God her Savior (Luke Chapter 1). At the wedding feast at Cana (John Chapter 2), Mary intercedes for the couple and their problem of running out of wine by pointing out the situation to Jesus. Then, showing complete trust in His response (whatever that might be), she tells everyone around to do whatever He says to do (her message to all the faithful to do God’s will like she always does as Full of Grace). After Jesus says it’s not yet His time, He performs the miracle anyway because of His mother’s intercession (request / prayer). Jesus honors His mother. I was a student of Doctor Hahn's many years ago at Franciscan. One of the things he said that always bugged me (not in that he was wrong but in that I couldn't reconcile it) was that Christ's love wasn't stagnant, but it was like a fire and it spreads...it's living Theoretically, I thought that should be true. But looking around me, looking at even Steubenville, OH which is full of extremely faithful Catholics...why isn't the faith spreading like fire? Why isn't the whole town affected by that love? Why isn't it spreading how it should? Why does it seem like this fire is losing? Yes, I know God is triumphant in the end, but he used a fire analogy and fires spread where there is fuel. There is plenty of fuel in that town and yet the Catholic population (which probably grows because many students go there never leave and have babies) doesn't seem to be converting others who are not there for the University. I'm still trying to reconcile those things to this day. Still Catholic but that one is a rock in my shoe.
Have you looked into New Polity, The Harmonium Project, Steubenville First Fridays, and The College of St. Joseph the Worker? All from the same Steubenville guys, Dr. Hahn is involved also. I would check out their projects in Steubenville.
Good point. It's a bit like the iceberg. We in this life sew the seed, God in his time will reap the Harvest. We don't know or in what way our prayers or our display of our faith can have on another person. Maybe Stebuville would be a terrible place if it wasn't for the people of faith there. I'm Irish and live in Ireland and I have heard of it and know of it.
Well I don't know if it would be a terrible place, but the University is certainly an oasis in an otherwise extremely dilapidated and poor town. The University life is very segregated from the rest of the town. At least it was when I was there. It's been awhile. And anyway, thought your comment is true, it certainly flies in the face of a fire analogy. @@johntaaffe4709

Sadly, there are pedophiles in all churches, schools, clubs, organizations. That's why parents have to protect their children. Pedophiles are attracted to professions where they have access to kids. Teachers, coaches, youth leaders, etc. come to mind. Be careful parents and guard your children from sexual predators...
The immortal burden of true Catholic faith: Being a good Christian, a true follower of Jesus Christ, is virtually impossible for most of us. The paradox: Exactly this deep conflict in each Christian has made Christianity the greatest civilization on earth. A true Christian has to live with this conflict - which is strikingly parallel to the Greek conflict: Socrates taught us to live in -and die in dignity with - eternal doubt and strife. catholic, small c, just means universal. The universal Christian church is unseen. God only knows who believes in Jesus as their Savior for their sins. We should never judge. Where the Word Of God is there are true believers.
@@momiowa9509It is far from unseen. ”“You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid. People do not light a lamp and put it under the bushel basket; rather, they put it on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.“ Matthew 5:14-16
Yes!!! I was hoping for this to happen and here it is. It bothers me that young men listen to the poison of Andrew Tate and the likes when we have an abundance of real men like Dr. Scott Hahn, Michael Knowles, Dr. Taylor Marshall, etc. Viva Cristo Rey!
0two catholics hypothesizing why it seem as though more people are taking a serious interest in religion and no one said The Holy Spirit (or cheap access to the internet that used to be a privilege).
Protestant response. Respectfully submitted. Beg to differ. Classical Protestantism which includes Presbyterians has always taught real presence. The other two branches of classic Protestantism, Anglican and Lutheran also believe in the real presence. What Dr. Hahn does is equate real presence with transubstantiation. Transubstantiation is only one of several ways to explain the real presence and it is a Johnny come lately at that. Also Dr. Hahn is incorrect in equating Christ’s universal church with the Roman Church. That is an error. The two are not synonymous. Christ’s universal church includes all the redeemed not just Roman Catholics. To say otherwise is to ignore church history and the apostolic witness. It is also highly sectarian. Rome does not own the word catholic.

When you know you're an alcoholic, you stay away from bars where the temptation is inevitable!!!! I guess the ones struggling with porn should probably try the best to stay away from social media, etc.🤷🏽♀️
The blind leading the blind !!
Not sure why Scott, a living saint, would intermingle his channel with a political commentator.
Because Knowles is a great introduction to Catholicism for many who are going down a political pipeline. Interviews like these can lead many to the faith
I am wondering about Eastern Orthodoxy if it is truly catholic. . . . . .
catholic, small c, just means universal.
In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.“
Matthew 5:14-16
Dr. Hahn: "The essence of the Catholic Church is much more in heaven than on earth..."
Michael: "Hm."
*Proceeds to drink leftist tears*
Hahahaha! I thought you were gonna joke about his casual sipping but dang caught me off guard and I’m LOL😂
Pope Francis, I Love You! Thank you for protecting us from radical right and left wing ideology!
There is no radical right. There’s just right.
I think that monk life is smoking something! But then again that would probably be acceptable in the new church.
Cool
Yes!!! I was hoping for this to happen and here it is. It bothers me that young men listen to the poison of Andrew Tate and the likes when we have an abundance of real men like Dr. Scott Hahn, Michael Knowles, Dr. Taylor Marshall, etc. Viva Cristo Rey!
Judas/Temple authorities didn't lack for 'evidence'. Mystery of iniquity.
I know i dont like it , i never really did
Michael knowles and Matt Walsh need to get away from the dailywire
I like their Catholic presence there. It's refreshing.
You know that Knowles' pornography question is really asked for himself.

0two catholics hypothesizing why it seem as though more people are taking a serious interest in religion and no one said The Holy Spirit (or cheap access to the internet that used to be a privilege).
Can a celibate homosexual be a priest?
They aren’t supposed to be but they’re everywhere
@@mrjeffjob yup. What went wrong with the help of Bella Dod.
They probably could but they shouldn’t be able to. They are a liability.
Not in God's true church as it would disqualify the from priesthood service. Catholicism allows it... For some reason.
@@HaleStorm49 Pretty sure Catholicism doesn't allow it per se, it but they do sneak in the back door (Pun intended).
I like Catholicism in broad theory (history and global structure), but you cannot in any sense defend Vatican II and Pope Francis.
Well then why are you not a catholic ??????
@@paulcapaccio9905 I am fully incorporated into Christ’s universal church by virtue of my union with Christ so your question makes no sense!
@@paulsmallwood1484 do you have the sacraments ? Especially the holy Eucharist?
@@paulcapaccio9905 what an absurd question. Of course.
