I love this App for the Perspectives, the Sequential Actions and the On Hold Status. I cant give it up because I cant find any Apps with those functions important to me. But to be honest, the outdated layout and the COMPLEX operation are upsetting. Omnifocus is the most powerful but also the most poorly-designed😅
This is unbelievably awful, not you Lucas, thanks for taking the time to explain us things. For someone with ADHD the layout of an app like this is enough to trigger some serious anxiety, this looks like coding. If there have to be long tutorials in order to learn how to use a to-do-list which is supposed to be one of the most easiest and practical things I feel I’m overcomplicating rather than organizing. MinimaList is amazing, but it’s just waaaay too minimalistic. A few tiny tweaks and it’d be perfect
Hey Jay, thanks for your feedback and the MinimaList suggestion. It's always valuable to learn how folks with ADHD perceive these apps. If you're looking for a more out-of-the-box experience, you may enjoy Nirvana or FacileThings: ruclips.net/video/af96_hQTVds/видео.html It is true that to do lists can be simple. In my experience though, GTD provides a higher level to do list approach. It adds some dimensions which means apps like this require more input than is perhaps the default use. I do want to leave you with an analogy: automatic cars are much easier to drive than manual shifters, but the automatic ones have much more complex engineering behind them. It's the same with setting up these apps with long tutorials - yes, it is intimidating but once you're done setting it up it will start to work for you on autopilot very quickly. So sometimes, it's worth investing in some back-end work for a better front-end experience. Please let me know if you have any more questions 🙂
I use TickTick and like it better. OmniFocus is better at some things like nested lists & sequential projects but I love TickTick notes, habits and its mobile app.
@@LucasPrigge I agree completely now that TickTick has the Kanban and Timeline views. TickTick only lacks the nested folders and built-in review features that OmniFocus has, but those are both important features. I think the Kanban view is as good or better than OmniFocus's Sequential project view.
Great intro to the program, I like the complexity and detail within, it provides a great structure and I enjoy using it. Thank you
Horrible review! This guy is not a pro!

Hi how can I create a grocery list on my iPhone with OmniFocus 3? Thank you
Create a parallel project for it and add your grocery items in there
@@LucasPrigge thank you I’ll try 👋👋😀
Hi when it will be released?
OmniFocus is already out now.
@@LucasPrigge OmniFocus 4
Thank you so much
