You clearly understand ZERO about music, influences and genres. This has nothing to do with Daft Punk 'playbook' - they had a background in rave electro in their 90's and disco/french house in the early '00s and they never made any tribal / chicago house / underground house track with vocals like this.

What we all care not to notice is how selfish we as fans can be when we ask an artist to stay the same with the same style all their lives. Being an artist is all about progression, creativity and adaptation to our new surroundings. We as artists never started for the fans. We started for ourselves. To help bring ourselves out and away from our own thoughts and lifestyles . Trust me tho I say the same thing time after time about some of my favorite artists who changed but nust keep reminding myself of how selfish I sound when I say this. Bless

He will end up losing some of the group that stayed dedicated for so long because many of us would never have this "pop" sound in our playlists.
