Yama's songs including covers has helped me so much when my days are a complete shipwreck,so yeah I thank a lot of people that have mentioned yama's name in the past (making her well known) because it got through to my ear and I absolutely am so thankful.
many people are still not sure what gender yama belongs to. but i more tend to use pronouns 'he/him' for yama. i personally cannot hear a girl in his very soft and tender voice. i think he just sounds young and i get the feeling that yama is actually a guy when he reaches such low notes (this is clearly expressed in this cover and in the cover on 'Ai Aru no Kanchigai' as well btw) that are more inherent in a guy than a girl. in addition, 'yama' is actually a male name, but i'm not really sure if this is so. but in any case, it does not matter what gender yama, because this artist is already becoming famous and has such an extraordinary enchanting voice. people simply love music and creativity of this or that artist.

@@まりな-z3m I kinda used to see her as a guy for the longest time, until a majority of her fans admit to hearing a woman's voice, I still refused to accept it considering her voice in the songs featuring her and her team's new channel BIN sounded so...you get me. It sounded a lot like a teenage boy ig, but I knew for a fact that she's a lot older. But now when I'm hearing her old covers I clearly hear a female and am 90% sure it''s a woman. She has this sorta gender neutral voice which is hard to pinpoint as either gender, until she starts hitting the extremely high notes where you can kinda tell. I've listened to a lot of male Japanese singers so I can kinda tell now. Either way it doesn't really matter, her voice is just bombs regardless, and has inspired me in a lot of cases
I really like this cover- it takes all the same energy from Mi yuu’s cover but makes it a bit easier to listen to for me. I really appriceate Mi yuu’s cover for the insane skill and talent needed to make it such a detailed and well produced song, but I find this one more relaxed and chill to just put on in the background of work and stuff. If I wanna hear a really detailed and beautifully arranged piece though, I’ll definitely go for mi yuu’s, his vocal range is insane 👌🥴
