Soultree Speedrun Concept: Pure Shadow | Skylords Reborn Campaign PvE

This obviously isn't a top time, but it's a different strategy than the usual soultree speedrun! If refined, it might be competitive. Who's ever heard of a pure deck speedrun?

Advantages of Pure Shadow over the typical frost-shadow strategy:
1. You don't need to take any additional wells, because of resource booster. This lets you build t2 instantly and start making unbound phoenixes earlier. It also means you have a bit more power in the beginning. (Actually I had a similar time taking wells as usual, not how much time this saves).
2. Instead of stone of torment, you can use befallen's curse to clear the frozen enemies. This is nice because you instantly get the power refund from furnace of flesh, whereas stone of torment binds power the whole time.
The major disadvantage of pure shadow over frost shadow is the lack of construction hut. However, since you can avoid stone of torment, the construction hut's only purpose is to save a few seconds making the FoF. My theory is that the other pure shadow cards can recover these few seconds. I can certainly clear the map faster with pure shadow than with the regular speedrun strategy--but is that true at an optomized level?
Optimization paths:
1. Better micro (of course)
2. Use a 2nd furnace of flesh so you have enough power to take t5 without waiting.
3. Motivate 1 of your lyrish defenders for increased dps
4. Nether warp to bring phoenixes from the right side of the map to the left side, much faster
5. Possible tools to clear the final plateau faster: aura of corruption, knight of chaos, or corpse explosion. Not sure if it would actually be faster, but pure shadow has better damaging spells than shadow frost.
I hope someone can optimize this strategy and get a good time! If you can beat Prit's current alltime record (9 mins 22 sec) with this strategy, I'll send you a bunch of boosters ;)

😲, i thought about using Curse to help with the northern T5 camp, but forgot to consider using it for the frozen Wave 🤦
Btw do you still have a decklist for this strategy ? And i'm not sure, but i think Amii Monument doesn't count toward the 5 Orb Objective anymore, as the game was patched quite a bit by now. However that leaves me wondering, how people are still getting their fast sub 10 minute times 🤔

I'm not sure if amii monument counts, I haven't run the map in a long time. If amii monument doesn't count, it really don't take much time to clear the t5 base with shadow phoenix. I have anywhere from 6-10 phoenixes by the time I clear the top, which bind no power, so you can just fly them over to the right side, plus maybe cc or a damage spell to stop paralyze and fliers, clear the base enough to get one unit in there and grab t5.
