The Tuatha Dé Danann's arrival in Ireland symbolizes transformation and renewal, depicted as a mystical event rather than a conquest. Their conflict with the Fomorians reflects the timeless struggle between chaos and order, old and new. This narrative highlights themes of change, balance, and evolution, shaping Ireland's mythical history and underscoring that transformation often requires confronting the past.

I’ve been fascinated by Irish mythology and folklore for years, but it’s hard to find a comprehensive and complete source of the subject. But this series is absolutely amazing! I have to admit, some of the pronunciations are terrible…but it’s understandable because the ancient Celtic language is difficult for anyone to speak… I was lucky to have a good friend who is from Ireland and is very knowledgeable of the old tongues. Reading it and speaking it are totally different! The written words are nothing like the spoken language! Thanks for the great videos though!

@MythicalArcana Well yes I can on RUclips & a website called The Irish Pagan School. Lora O'Brien & Jon O'Sullivan are truly genuine & authentic people. Lora is also an author she has several books on the subject. If you like that I can give you a couple more recommendations.

I was just thinking the other day that I haven't studied Celtic myths for a long time. Started to forget names. I have read different Celtic creations stories . Cant remember though. If its irish or British. The 1st being after Ireland was created was a Mare names Eiocha. Made from land and sea. Some scholars, ages ago.that the Tuatha De Danann ( had to look up how spell check.lol 😂.) Might of come some were in Holland . All the basic stuff is here that I remembered and knew. But learned a lot good things and some names I never heard off .some storys have a trio .called " the three Morrigna". But few different stories abount this young lady and you can pronounce the names better than I can. Good stuff.😎👍

Beira cobbled together the Earth by taking rock up from the sea. The Formorians & Tuatha both originated under the sea, but all the land had an opposite, upside down side. At some point, the Tuatha De Danaan chose to cede control of the earth to humans & retreated entirely into this otherworld opposite ours, beneath our feet.

*Edit* Maybe in a corner? If I can see it while I listen, I can put a pebble in my memory. I am very ignorant in names and history...Yet, I have lived in semiotics and teachings from my Grandparents all my life.

Thank you for sharing the true history through the sacred ancient mythology of Ireland & to how ALL THINGS came into existence for Ireland. It seems that ALL ancient tribes all over the world & beyond have such beautiful, poweful & amazing ancient stories to which connects to us all in some way, shape & or form.
The very act of so called colonisation may have been a very devistating painful & traumatic situation to which as played out for all of us as human beings upon the entire planet but because of this, now ALL of our ancient bloodlines are now have been mixed & connected forever & eternally. I choose to truely love & embrace every part of all these ancient bloodlines to which flow through my veins & my very own bloodline now, forever & eternally.
WE ARE ONE & THE SAME & WE ALL ARE APART OF THE SAME DIVINE SPARK OF THE MOST HIGH MOTHER FATHER GOD OF ALL CREATIONS.
UNITED WE STAND & DIVIDED WE FALL.

From my own research these stories seem to suggest civilization growth coming out of the Neolithic Age leading into the Bronze age.
I find investigating historical and theological correlations with the Celtic ties to the Carthaginians/Phoenicians and connections to Hinduism via the Tocharian of the Tarim Basim, offered new insights.

It's definitely a difficult thing to work through, because what is written is so heavily tied into Christian beliefs & it's hard to know if some of the places where it ties in were done like that because of some erroneous detail that was similar- like the Irish knowing full well they migrated into Ireland from the east, and the Jews originated in the east, & all of the known earth exists to the east, so why question the claim that all humans started in the Holy Land & spread west from there?
As far as I got, Beira, the Formorian, made the Earth from the sea, the Formorians came from beneath the sea & the Tuatha may have been descended from them in some way. Irregardless, the Tuatha & Formorians intermarried a lot. They likely made the first human men- the Fianna- to be their warriors & servants & the men found women having been created seperately elsewhere & took them in. At the very least, humans came from Dagda's cauldron, from the Austrian saying "Back when you swam about in Abraham's Sausage Kettle." But, beyond that, no clear idea where the universe itself came from, no clear idea who all these groups of people who are mentioned before the Milesians were, other than the humorous story about the one man & the 100 women named for every other known group of people on earth is probably just some sort of explanation for where non-Celts came from, however that used to fit into the original mythology. No clear idea of a lot of things. I've seen someone take a Welsh story about a king sneaking into the otherworld & destroying a cauldron, causing the end of the world, only for the cauldron to remake itself & start the whole universe over again, so maybe that's it? Who really knows. The whole topic is one big headache with ten different sides adamantly arguing over.

      That's such a useless comment.
In truth, if you go back far enough, all humans are related.
Were the Formorians, Fir bolg, or Tuatha de Danaan more Irish? What makes you real Irish? That your parents immigrated there? That your ancestors immigrated there 3000 years ago? That you are legally a citizen because you immigrated?
Danu herself started out a part of the Sumerian pantheon, did a stint in the Vedic pantheon, and finally decided to start her own pantheon. Her people traveled from Asia to Ireland. They visited holy grounds in China for years.
Your birthplace and the birthplace of your physical ancestry does not dictate your spiritual home in this life.

They talk about the origin of the Irish race, but hold on the talk about the people coming from the main land of Europe but take it in another contect why not turn it around thatthe in reality the people went east throughout Europe not west word... the people coming from Ireland and gradually going east wards. Under Irish folklore the origin of the Irish people originated here i. Ireland and went east and west from Ireland throughout the world.

So. The African migration theory but Irish?
Most cultures place themselves at the center, the originator, the correct.
There were many different species of monkey people, and we find more every day.
We're discovering that humanity had a mass extinction event involving Gaia's normal moods of fire, tornado, earthquake, and flood.
We've seen the destruction of socially manipulative "leaders" that destroy history to prevent awareness and further manipulation.
Just look at the Internet. The way back machine, an internet snapshot for posterity, was being modified by people in tech to be different from the historical snapshot. Our advancements and reliance in tech is only as good as the information going into it.
Preserve your print, as it is more reliable for correctness because one can't change all copies in a whim.
