My take on the story: The human discovers a glitch were exp doesn't reset after loading so they decide to continuously kill sans and load to farm exp but the glitch also caused sans to not lose his memory after using a checkpoint. The human begins to farm sans' exp, killing him thousands of times, but sans doesn't lose his memory, and, contrary to the human, who can pause and take a break, sans starts to lose sanity from being tortured and killed continuously for months. At some point, due to sans' mental state, his attacks become highly erratic and random, making them impossible to dodge or predict and sans finally manages to kill the human. Due to the abuse of the glitch, the checkpoint doesn't work and the human is sent to the entrance of mt ebott. While the human is traversing through the underground killing everyone again, sans wanders around killing everyone he encounters, including the human, until he reaches the entrance of mt ebott, where the human spawns after being killed, and he starts to continuously kill them over and over like they did to him. His broken body is a result of the glitch carrying on some small injuries over loads, which after thousands of cycles lead to his appearance right now. And the bones are due to sans' poor grip on reality making him attack himself accidentally.
His story is pretty interesting. Makes me want to share my take on absolution sans and the ainavol aus in general. Also it's raining somewhere else makes it sound more like an agressive date than a fight lol. Pretty awesome stuff
