MESSAGE FROM A VIRGIN PAINT SPRAYER. I just bought the Graco X19. Never have used one of these before. I have watched a lot of how to type videos but watching someone else use these machines and using one yourself for the first time is a different story. I know that the sprayer I purchased is capable. The questions become... Am I capable? Will I make a mess of the job? What will discharging the gun actually feel like? Here is the solution for my lack of confidence. I WILL USE STRAIGHT WATER TO SPRAY MY GARAGE DOOR UNTIL I REACH A SATISFACTORY LEVEL OF COMFORT WITH THIS EQUIPMENT AND MY TECHNIQUE.
Thank you for such a clear and complete explanation of how to use an airless sprayer! Great job! Is there any type of lubrication needed for an electric powered airless sprayer? I have a Wagner Twin Stroke 3000 painter that an uncle gave me. It didn't have any instructions or any type of lubrication but I've noticed that on some models use some kind of lubrication is added! Is that lubrication only for small gas powered airless sprayers?
TSL, or throat seal liquid oh, it is a clear liquid that coats the packing and allows the shaft to move freely as well as lubricate the leathers and plastics

I was wondering if your particular sprayer has a filter in the handle? I believe the sprayer that an uncle gave me, (without any user guide) has one in the handle. I noticed that there's a filter at the end of the siphon tube that's placed into the paint bucket! Is that filter all that I need to do a job? I'd also like to know if using an airless sprayer uses more paint than just using a roller or brush?
Our sprayers do not have filters in the handle - and it's certainly possible that an airless uses more paint. I would suppose it would depend on some variables such as paint consistency, coverage requirements VS roller and brush.
Great Job Matt. I've built houses for years but never got into the painting thing. I'm getting ready to paint my outside of the house and plan on renting an airless sprayer to make the job go faster and not waste so much paint. This is by far the best instruction video I've seen yet. You are an awesome teacher. Thanks again for taking the time to help others.

Maybe not, and I'm not picking on you, but he definitely starts the video out as if you just finished or if you were making sure it was working before you started, because you were borrowing one or something crazy, but he didn't say that
