Oh yeah! Retro game hunts with Wulff Den! This is exactly what I’ve been needing! Thank you! No one does new game tours, so when you do run to the Nintendo World Store, don’t forget to take us with you, sometimes! It wouldn’t hurt! Also, there are niche toy shops and more retro game shops near and around the village (and lots of neat food places too). There should be one store called: _Video Games New York_ near Cooper Union. It’s been a decade since I’ve been down there but I’d look them up. Also, theres J&L games on corner of Elizabeth and Canal (in Chinatown) and I’m sure they’re a fixture of the city as much as the Chinatown Fair. Some food for thought! Wanderlust is as much a feature of Manhattan as in big cities in Japan! Great Stuff, as always!
Also: There is a Book-Off in midtown, somewhere, I’ve sold some books there in the past, I don’t know if there is a Hard-Off in Manhattan though.

Those DMGs with the paper sticker SKU were the ones that came with the warranty/support when you preordered them in store. If you ever find a matching sku with the box, they go for a pretty penny.

Bob, with all your modding, you should check out the Pine64 Pinecil soldering iron. As an electrical engineer it’s probably my favorite soldering iron. It’s as good as my work’s Weller solder station
$60 for a DS Lite is terrible. I sell good condition ones for $50. The one you bought would be sold for that or possibly even $40. The NDS was one of the most manufactured consoles literally ever. There are SO many of them in the wild still, and there is absolutely no reason for them to be going for any more than $50 in average condition. Maybe if it was one of the Ice Blue models or something, but definitely not for a standard color one.

considering i got a nearly mint condition, boxed dsi for the equivalent of about $70 not too long ago i have to agree :P
@@clankfish Same. I have 3 CIB DS Lite's in excellent condition and none of them were over $80. Charging $60 for one in the condition of the one in this video is awful. I guess I wouldn't expect any less from a convention though. That's just how it goes. Lol

I could have given you a deal. I buy in bulk from Japan. Normally I pay 30 dollars max for gbc, gba. Pockets for 20 dmg cheaper in bulk. The prices they charge at conventions is ridiculous. Most of the time they just have corrosion.

yo Bob, great clip! you mentioned being able to find $1 GBC battery covers at the con; 2 questions: are they OEM and is there anywhere online where they're a dollar? the one i got from Handheld Legends was a bit grittier and darker than the OEM Kiwi and the same goes for the ones i've found across ebay and Ali but they're all like 3-6 bucks after shipping and junk so it adds up just to try them out :c
