Where do you get that from? There's MRAPs out there that are capable of surviving anti tank mines and their weigh less than a 10th of that Turkish tank. If it was designed correctly which I'd assume it is, it will only be tracked by an anti tank mine
Just see how much smaller the AMX-13 is. I believe we’ll go back to really small light tanks to support infantry assaults, especially now drones are being more prevalent
Designations such as light, medium and heavy describe how vehicles are supposed to be used tactically, they don’t necessarily reflect actual weight. Prime historical example of this would be the Panzer V Panther that despite being heavier than some of the Allies‘ heavies, was both designated and used as a medium tank, to an extent paving the way towards the concept of MBTs.
Kaplan MT or harimau hitam (black Tiger) is classified as a medium tank
By the Indonesian army
Kaplan (Tiger) MT (medium tank)
I remember the pain of stock grind for AMX13 in WoT back then, hated this tank with passion 😂.
...and both very capable as being totally written off by any anti-tank mines currently in use
Written off by mines? Wtf does that mean? Light tanks are well above the weight limit that triggers the fuse.
@Levon_RnD
Obviously, your many years of experience trump my decades of experience. Do try very hard to have a nice day!

FYI the AMX-13 75mm caliber cannon is retrofitted with 105mm
