Ahh yes the sound of success. Months of being stuck on 1 level. Rage quitting after unexpected death, hours of getting lost, going in circles, back tracking, getting lost again only to finally end of our suffering this game put us through years later. You finally can let out a scream of joy of. Give yourself a pat on the back because you finally accomplished you thought you never would. Echo The Dolphin Defender of the Future. The Experiance Completed.
At the time of Dreamcast, I didn't have any guide, and got stuck for 3 entire months at the Perpetual Fluidity level. Then one more month at Hatchery. Then my liberation finally came. Gotta love this game...
the alien part is a pain in the ass. as a kid it was hard to play, still hard as an adult but at the same time you can't help but still enjoy playing it even after raging quitting lol.
I played it on the emulator, with saves and guides. Still gave me hard time with some levels. I kinda envy those who played it without walkthroughs. Don't mind the saves though, some stages would have driven me mad if I couldn't save every now and then.
Hahahaha. You said it. At the time when I finally finished it, it felt like a period of my life had ended. As hard and annoying as the game was at times, I rarely felt such satisfaction as when I beat it legit on Dreamcast. Passed Perpetual Fluidity out of sheer luck tho, lol.
I've never worked so hard to hear a song in my life. God I miss this game (and my Dreamcast). Also miss the early 2000s. What a time to be young and alive
@@IllusionSector Not really. Rhythmically, Genesis Ch1 v32, and musically like the mid to late 80s albums, mixed with Toto style (well, many styles, since Toto hasn't one unique style or genre). Over the ending chords it gets very Paich-Porcaro-ish.
The game was hella jank, and I feel like I was hardly ever correctly told what to do, but hearing this track washed away all of my frustration after finally completing this polarizing game.
was this recorded on a 24 fretted guitar because that high note is so hard to make sound good at 2:24... almost impossible. Just sounds weak and on this recording it doesn't.
This theme is so incredibly gas
Yup, this music consistently gives me goosebumps over a decade later.

This genuinely made me cry😩

This song makes me feel what it is like arriving into Heaven and Jesus Christ playing the Guitar Riff 🙏

Bro I remember being 5 and sitting in the main menu and this would play bro I miss those times
I have always liked the soundtrack on this game, especially this song. Thanks for the upload!
Your Hollywood happy ending music but 9000 times better because it's Tim Follin and his element means high quality.
This theme in particular is a contribution of Atilla Heger, if I'm not mistaken.
@@Demowan I'd like more info about that
This song has always given me a peaceful mind...
thank God I still have. this Wonderful game X'D
Always broke my heart that this song wasn’t included in the PS2 port for the credits. Would have been perfect otherwise.
So Beautiful… Thanks.
hearing this music after you finally beat this game is priceless
Божественно!!! Я люблю эту игру и помню всегда!!!
El sonido de el mar fue una excelente idea.
In fact there's some Alan Parsons Project vibe on this
Hmm. Interesting. Is there a particular APP piece that you found this reminiscent of?

reminds me of Spock's Beard

I think the entire track is made out of synths.
@@alonsojett That's right, and Tim Follin is basically reknowned to make synth guitars sound realistic
@@Plasmariel Or sampled, like in Amiga and SNES.
@@FukiMakai Absolutely! Moto-X is insane. Say, do you have Discord? We made a Follin-related server if you're interested :).

+Barku2687 Truly an awesome piece! I have been looking for this song ever since I watched SomeCallMeJohnny review the series.
+Flamestar320 power to the people. I'm glad you found it XD
+Barku2687 If you thought this song was emotional, you should listen to the ending songs for Five Nights At Freddy's 3 and 4.
