Just picked up the HSS from you guys. I've easily owned over 20 Strats over the years, American Standards, Elites & Deluxes as well as maybe a half dozen Custom Shop models. This new Am II honestly is among my favorite 2 I've owned. Throaty sounding pickup with as much bite as you need. Absolutely worth the price and seems like a bargain. I like this AM II more than the CS's I've owned, which I admit... Not a fan of, and couldn't care less about fake "relic" finishes

Just got my first ever Strat (Pro 2 SSS Dark Night) and I am blown away. Have always been a PRS/Tele person but can't believe how good this guitar is :)
Than try a BLADE Texas-Model! And you will be blown away much more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After more than 2 years of abstinence, I went to the Music Station again and played 3 Fender American Professional II Strats, and again I noticed that the woods had little vibrancy, the maple necks were not very dense and responsive, there was little twang, little crunch , wiry-glassy, few overtones, sustain, attack, everything you associate with Fender guitars, everything is less than on my ESP 400 Series Strats and less than on my BLADE Texas models. This can be tested objectively and I can only say that I am extremely disappointed with this price-performance ratio. No, I can no longer objectively understand this adulation regarding Fender Strats. My first Stratocaster was a Fender American Standard Stratocaster and that was my worst guitar of all, a Fender Mexico Standard followed after that, but after I played the ESPs and the BLADEs everything was clear to me, and that proves itself again, every time, when I compare, the same result always comes out - what else can I say, it is true! The ESP-400-Series Strats and the BLADEs have objectively, noticeably and audibly better tonewood, the BLADEs even have a flattened neck-body-joint and covered fret slots and therefore much better playability!!! So, I'm done with Fender, I'm playing something clever, and at a much cheaper price. I don't want to talk anyone out of their love of Fender, I have nothing against you buying the (usually) worse guitars for a far too exorbitant price, you're welcome to do that. Then there will be more BLADEs for me, very simple! Thanks for listening!
Just got mine today. I am BLOWN AWAY. I have a 74 strat and this thing COOKS it. My fav fender instrument I’ve ever laid hands on.

I just purchased the new professional II Telecaster Deluxe with V humbuckers and it’s phenomenal. Love the colour Dark Night like the Strat Jim is playing. These new satin finish necks are really great. Zero sticking but it doesn’t feel like someone just sanded it down, it has some sheen. The pickups are different on mine, with splits, but still part of this V generation. Really awesome guitars coming out of Fender. The intonation was excellent on my Tele Deluxe but I have to lower the action, it comes a bit too high.
hey man, I also have the pro II tele deluxe with humbuckers. Are those humbuckers the same one that would be on the HSS of this guitar?
I watched both of your videos on the American Pro II Strats. I think theStrat with the rosewood fretboard has a more full and well rounded sound. Or it could just be my ears. lol

honestly I have no idea. It just sounds way better. Have both. The performer sounds duller, not so dynamic and kinda flat. The pro II sound super lively. No idea why. It is wood magic maybe....@@urgidover

It's amazing how it sounds like my Squier Standard strat with the 2 point tremolo.. But about 1/8th the cost.. Food for thought

I HATED THE NOISELESS PICKUPS...although they were better then the Ultras
im gonna get this and replace the neck with a custom neck that is just like the Elite. I would use different pickups as well. im a big fan of the california 50's set the SSL-1 and an SSL-5 in the bridge like Gilmour.
