Chronixx and the Zinc Fence Band has matured over the years....this is Bob Marley and the Wailers all over again in artistry, delivery and sophistication.
I love Chronix but he has a long way to go to reach anywhere near Bob Marley. And this performance, like most of his other performances, is a disappointment. He lets down his fans everytime he performs. His music in performance is always way below the quality of the recordings. Which says a lot about the quality of the artist. I have heard many live Bob Marley performances and they were, every one of them, all great. Some, much better than the recordings because of the unique solos and other special events. Chronix has let me down everytime. I am not sure I will attend another Chronix performance.
I you know nothing about Regge music. You never played in a band. This is roots Regge. Check the history. Listen to Chronnix father, Burning Spear, the Dremmer is Bob style. Some of Bob’s band member is still playing askt them. You should know concert always sound different than studio recording
